Mind Games [B.B]

Lenora POV

I opened my eyes slowly, I looked around the room before I looked in front of me, Bucky was lying on his back his arm was around me our legs tangled together.  He looked so peaceful when he slept.

I shut my eyes and fell back asleep, we were going to head back to the compound today and it was going to be a long flight so I might as well get sleep now.

I woke up again but this time the bed was empty I sat up and looked around the room,  it was quiet. I got up and walked over to the bathroom and looked to see if he were in there, he wasn't. 

I don't know why but I had a bad feeling. 

I grabbed my key card and walked out the room and into the hallway and over to Nat and Steves's room. I knocked on their door.  Steve quickly came to the door but didn't open it all the way like he was hiding something.

"Have you seen Bucky" I asked, he turned around and looked back at me he cleared his throat before speaking.

"No, sorry" He says and shuts the door.

Yeah, he was being weird. 

I took a step back before raising my leg and kicking the door down, I walked into the room to see Steve and Bucky sat on the bed. At first, I was confused but then I looked at Bucky his eyes were swollen red. 

He's been crying.

"Buck what's wrong" I say going to walk over to him but Steve stops me.

"Steve what are you doing" I say pushing his arm off mine.

"You need to give him some space" He says turning me around 

"Steve tell me what's going on" I asked turning back to him.

"Lenora we will explain another time but please just leave us be" He says. I look back at Bucky and he just nods, I leave the room and go back into my own.

Bucky POV

A few hours earlier...

I shot up out of bed with sweat dripping down my face I was breathing heavily, my heart beating out of my chest, I had another nightmare.

I turned and saw Lenora was luckily still asleep, I didn't want her to see me like this. I quickly got up and left the room and into Steves. 

"What happened" He asks 

"It was a flashback from when I was with hydra" I say 

1991

"Longing"

"Rusted"

My name is James Buchanan Barnes, I thought to myself 

"Seventeen"

"NO STOP" I scream. I couldn't stop it I didn't want to be like this, I didn't want to be a killer.

"Daybreak" 

Lenora, I need to find my Lenora 

I scream again trying to block out their words. The next thing I know is I'm getting a hard beating from one of the doctors, I scream in pain as he does it again several times.

"If you don't comply soldier you will keep getting hurt" One of the soldiers says.

"I don't care, I won't let you brainwash me" I say 

"Furnace" 

Steve will help me 

"Nine"

Home I need to get home 

"Bengin"

My name is Bucky

"Homecoming"

Lenora, I need her 

"One"

My name is 

"Freight car" 

My name is the Winter soldier

"Ready to comply soldier" The doctor asks.

"Ready to comply" I say back.

Sorry, this chapter is so short there will get longer this one was just a filler really...
