After the crash in 1945 Lenora wakes up with Steve to find that they have slept for 70 years, Lenora has to find the courage to keep going each day without her Fiancé Bucky Barnes who she thinks had died but when she finds out he's alive after all...
"Loki, I swear if you don't give it back I will hurt you," I shout as I storm over to him. He laughs at my comment and disappears AGAIN. I huff and sit on the bench in the gym. I go to grab the weight, but then Loki appears. He has a sad smile on his face as he hands me back my ring.
"Sorry I was just messing about," He apologies. I take the ring from him and place it on my thumb.
"Its fine, its just, this was the last thing my mother gave me before I went into the ice, so it's precious to me," I explained. I look at my ring and fell tears in my eyes, I missed my mother so much she was the only family member I had my father and brother died in the war and I had no grandparents or aunties or uncles so after that it was just me and her. Once I came out of the ice, I went looking for her. I knew she wouldn't be alive, but it took me two years to find her grave and when I did, I sat there for nearly a day. I found out she died only three years after I went into the ice. Apparently, she couldn't cope anymore and took her own life. I miss her every day.
"I'm sorry" Loki says.
"Don't worry about it, now let's get training," I smile. He nods and we do some more training. I decide to help Loki with throwing spears and knives and he helps me some more with fighting. As we're in the middle of doing a press-up competition, the door opens. I look to see Pietro he smile at me as he walks over.
"What are you two up too" He ask as he speeds around, so he's sat next to us.
"Press up competition and I'm winning," I taunt Loki.
"Oh, are you sure about that" Loki laughs. I go to speak again but get cut off when the door flies open. I turn and see Clint. He looks so worried. Me and Loki both got up and ran over to him.
"Clint, what's wrong?" I ask.
"Quick Tony's back" He says, We all begin running down the tower until we get to the living room where everyone else is, that's when I see Tony stood in front of everyone, I also noticed happy next to him. I walked over and stood next to Thor and Sam.
"Okay, now that you're all here, there's something I need to tell you," He says worriedly, and that's when I notice Bruce sat on the couch with his head in his hands.
"So as I was away on my mission, I ran Into someone and that someone was the person who we are training to kill. And it didn't go well because he captured me, but as I was there, something happened. An enemy of his came and killed him, but now that enemy wants to kill us and he's a lot worse than him"
"Who is he" Sam asks
"He goes by the name Thanos," He explains.
"No," I heard Loki whisper from behind me. I turned to look at him and he looks white as a ghost.
"Loki, what's wrong" I ask, and he shakes his head. I watch as Thor goes over to him, but he continues to say "No" and shakes his head.
"Brother, talk to me," Thor says as he tries to comfort his brother.
"I need to go," Loki says. Thor was about to speak when Suddenly an enormous light goes above Loki and in seconds he's gone. We all stare in shock at what just happened. I walk over and place my hand on Thor's back. He had his head down.
"Thor, what was that about?" I question
"I don't know but I need to go home. I'm sorry Lenora Ill be back as soon as I can," He says as he pulls me in for a hug. I close my eyes tightly and hug him back. He pulls back and I watch as he looks over at Bucky and walks over to him.
"Look after her," I hear him say
"I'll try" Bucky replies. Thor then picks up Mjollnir, and just like Loki, he disappears.
