After the crash in 1945 Lenora wakes up with Steve to find that they have slept for 70 years, Lenora has to find the courage to keep going each day without her Fiancé Bucky Barnes who she thinks had died but when she finds out he's alive after all...
It's been a few days since Bucky started remembering, I decided to give him a bit of time before we start going over other stuff to remember. Today I was going to show him the wedding ring he bought me. Hopefully, something comes back.
"How are things going with Bucky" Natasha asks.
"Good he's remembering more than I expected him too," I say
"Good, then what's the problem" She says, I look at her in confusion.
"What you talking about"
"Lenora, something just seems off you seem scared of something" She says.
I knew she noticed, she was right I am scared. I'm scared that he won't love me once he remembers everything. I start crying, I feel Nat's arms wrap around me.
"I'm scared he won't love me" I whisper.
"Hey Lenora don't think that of course, he will still love you, he's your fiance," She says pulling back to look at me. Her thumb wipes under my eyes.
"I know, but I'm still so scared, I love him so much I always have" I say
"Natasha do you know where Le- I hear Steve stop speaking as he enters the room, I turn to see Bucky stood with him, his face instantly drops when he sees me.
"Is everything okay" Steve asks as we all look at each other.
"Yeah, I'm fine I was just having a moment" I say wiping my eyes before standing up and walking over to Bucky and Steve.
"Do you want to go try and remember something else" I ask Bucky, he replies with a nod. We start walking down the hall and to my bedroom. We enter and sit on my bed. I look down at my ring, before looking back up at him.
"This is the engagement ring you got me" I say, he takes hold of my hand and brings it closer to him to get a better look. I get goosebumps over my whole body as he touches me, he notices and smiles to himself.
1944
Bucky POV
"Do you think she will like it" I ask steves opinion of the ring.
I was going to propose to Lenora tonight and I had no idea what type of ring to get her there were so many different types, I was scared of picking the wrong one.
"She will love it Buck" He says, I turn to look at him
"You said that about the last six rings"
"She will love whatever ring you get her" He says.
"I know I just don't want to mess it up" I say as I pick up another ring.
"You won't mess anything up, tonight will be perfect" He says as he places his hand on my shoulder. I smile in response.
We continue looking around for around half an hour before I see the perfect ring, It was a small gold one with a diamond on it. As soon as I saw it I bought it.
We headed to other stores to buy things for tonight. I wanted to get some wine and rose petals to place on the table. I wanted for us to remember this night for the rest of our lives.

Once we got home Steve helped me set it all up, I scattered rose petals all on the table, I bought a bottle of wine with two glasses. I also lighted a couple of candles. I also decided to cook her favorite meal.
"Okay, she should be home any minute go hide" I say to Steve, I watch as he runs off down the hall and goes into the guest bedroom. I sit down at the table and wait.
I heard the door open, I got up from my seat and rushed over to the door, I watched as she hung up her bag and coat on the hook.
"Hello baby" She says kissing me. She goes to walk towards the kitchen but I stop her.
"Close your eyes" I say, I watch as she covers them.
"Don't peak" I say as I hold onto her arms and lead her into the kitchen.
"Buck can I open my eyes yet," She asks
"Not yet doll" I reply.
I quickly grab the ring box off the table, I run my hands down my clothes to straighten them out. I take a deep breath before I speak.
"Okay, you can open them" I say, she opens them and looks around at the table, she was smiling brightly.
"Bucky what's going on" She says smiling.
"There's nobody else I want Lenora" I say before stepping closer to her.
"From the first day I met you I knew one day that we would be together, I love you so much Lenora, you make me so happy I honestly don't know what I would do without you. You're the most beautiful person I've ever known, you have such a kind heart I can't believe you ever even agreed to go on a date with me the first time I asked you. Every time I see you I still get butterflies, every time I kiss you I feel myself fall for you even more. You Lenora Rose are my best friend, my soulmate and I'd love it if you'd do me the honor in marrying me" I say as I get down on one knee.
I opened up the box to reveal the ring, I watched as she started to cry. I could feel myself get teary.
"Yes" She says as she looks at me.
I stand up and place the ring on her finger, I attach my lips to hers, I felt her hand wrap around my neck to pull me in closer, I smiled into the kiss.
"I love you Buck" She says resting her forehead against mine.
"I love you too Lenora" I say before pecking her lips and hugging her tightly.
