Chapter 40: Difference in Class

Part I

Although the war looks in the favor of the western nations the preparation was not to make fun of. The attack of the Western nations has been successful because of careful planning and technology utilization these kinds of instruments are what humans are famous for. The operation was supported by various countries and powerful organizations, all in eliminating the new Cataclysm class monster named Rimuru Tempest. Falmus already planned to attack Tempest beforehand and it was supported by Grandmaster Yuuki Kagurazaka and as time passes on other nations and organizations decided to partake in the operation.

The man looking in his 50s was the commander of the North Post barrier set up he was in a luxurious tent while looking at the papers regarding the formation and direction of the battle stations.

"That was weird..." He murmured while looking at a piece of document

10 high-ranking knights are beside him, each of them easily surpasses B-class and as a commander himself, he's an A-class individual.

"What is? commander..." One knight asked 

"A letter from the church, the contents of the letter said that the Leader of the monsters who are claimed to possess powers rivaling the Stellar Dragon was killed by the witch Hinata Sakaguchi" The commander answered as if not believing the letter

The commander who read the letter seems troubled about the letter he couldn't deduce whether to trust the letter or not.

"Is it that weird Commander? it's the Western countries' strongest human knight after all" A knight said

The commander who seems to have doubts continued to have a suspicion.

"I know how strong that woman is but we are talking about here is a being who surpassed Special S class those beings are already mythical class and we are talking to someone who is higher than that Hinata Sakaguchi is strong but I think she can only be rated at maximum Special A to S class as a fighter." The commander said

"If the legendary Conqueror of flames would be here then we wouldn't need to worry if we can sum up the Conqueror of flames and Hinata Sakaguchi then no demon lord would be able to stop us," The commander said 

"What are you talking about commander?" A knight asked

"You don't know the Conqueror of flames? she is a champion who protected humans long ago and she is Hinata Sakaguchi and the Grandmaster's mentor," The commander said

"I know the Witch of the Church but is the Grandmaster that strong?"

After a knight asked that the room was filled full of questions.

"Of course he is, his position was not just for show, it's only a rumor but few people said that the Grandmaster was even stronger than Hinata Sakaguchi" The commander stated

"We don't really have any personal hatred towards the monster kingdom but this is our job go back to your posts." The commander said and the knights saluted in unison

The high-ranking knights decided to rest and harness their strength to focus on the operation, they couldn't feel relax for even a second, an infiltration of this scale was difficult to accomplish accordingly all of them must perform their best.

The commander went out to the tent to see the situation but his eyes only saw despair just to see his thousands of soldiers got swallowed by a large wave of raging flames.

"What on earth..?"

At first, he couldn't believe what he saw in his eyes to even move but he immediately regained his consciousness.
