The trip to Misaki's home had been awkward and Atsumu was pretty sure that Sakusa was still angry with him. But the other members of Misaki's family genuinely grew to like him. Atsumu made his way into Misaki's mother's heart. The sweet woman was sure that Atsumu was good for her daughter, noticing that Misaki was happier than she usually was. She silently prayed that Atsumu continued to make her happy, feeling that her happiness was the only thing that mattered to her. Even if her oldest daughter did things out of the order the family usually did them in.

Koyuki Sakusa was a wonder to behold, the woman soft and gentle and seemingly had passed it on to both of her girls. For the most part anyways. It was while Atsumu was here that he discovered Misaki's little sister, Ayame swung for both teams. The adorable girl was one he would never have expected to do so, but he came to find himself attached to her, silently vowing that anyone who broke Ayame's heart would be on his naughty list. The trip went rather well, and even though the mishap happened with Sakusa, Atsumu and Misaki both found themselves content.

They were finally packing to go home, Atsumu needing to be back for practice as he wouldn't be able to play the game next week properly without it. So Misaki understandably teared up as she was saying goodbye, her hormones getting the better of her. In the last few days, she had really started to show, the bloating now becoming a slightly more rounded bump, almost as if deciding that because her family knew, now it was okay that the rest of the world knew as well. Misaki's clothes were beginning to get tighter and tighter, needing to find looser ones.

So as Atsumu and Misaki headed for Osaka, they discussed the possibility of Misaki and Atsumu looking for looser clothes on a day the both of them were free. They agreed that they would meet up soon to go over it and do a little shopping together. But the relationship was still so new to the both of them. They still needed to find out more about one another. So as Atsumu held Misaki's hand while driving, he looks over at her with a small smile. "I really do like yer family. Felt like I fit right in. And yer brother and I got along better than I do with my own."

Misaki gives a small grin, remembering how when she went looking for Tsumu, her twin was the one occupying his time. It could be so much worse, so she left them be, allowing Atsumu to bond with the family he would inevitably be tied to for the rest of his life whether or not the two of them stayed together. Her father had accepted Atsumu with few enough words, which was what Misaki had worried would be the hard part. Instead, the hard part had been her cousin.

To say that Sakusa was angry was a blunt understatement. The tall dark and handsome male was outright furious. He couldn't even stand to be in the same room as Atsumu throughout most of the time they were there together, though he had feverishly apologized for upsetting Misaki. Due to the fact that they were now at odds, Misaki felt conflicted, almost as if she should have waited and told everyone separately. In fact, that guilt weighed in on her every time she glanced at the slight bruise on Atsumu's cheek, having to turn away to keep from feeling as guilty.

The ride from Tokyo to Osaka was long, and it was late afternoon when they finally returned, Misaki having her cellphone off the entire time to capitalize the time that she was spending with the father of her children. She could feel something there, felt that it was a special connection that she had never had with anyone else. So she felt slightly disappointed when Atsumu pulled up to her curb, letting her out of the car. She had almost expected him to ask if he could stay, but all of his practice clothes were at home. So he waited for her to get inside her house before pulling away.

Misaki turns her phone on as she enters, immediately noting that Yukari was howling from somewhere inside the home as her phone blows up with notifications. Multiple notifications at that. She heads though the house to find out where her dog may have locked herself in at as she reads the latest one.
