Set To The Sky

Chapter 4

Misaki was in her home, drying her hair as she got ready for the dinner with Atsumu. She was really looking forward to the time she was going to spend with the blonde MSBY setter, her heart strangely thudding in her chest as she thought of him. She thought that he had his own kind of charm, even if he seemed a little childish at times. After talking to him for a bit, she discovered he had a nearly identical twin named Osamu, and two younger sisters, Koemi, whom was a year and 4 months younger than them and Saika whom was currently 16, almost 17 years old and was the setter for Inarizaki's girl's volleyball team. 

She wondered what his family was like, and if she would get to meet them. But then again, Misaki still had not told her own family she was pregnant and she had now known for about four weeks. Her next appointment was tomorrow, and Atsumu was coming with her to see how things had progressed. They kept things on the down low, not wanting to advertise that they were an item when it had not been really talked about yet. Them getting to know one another was one thing.... But to come out and say they were dating was another and had not even been discussed.

Misaki threw on a black dress with floral print on the bottom and black spiky heels with black stockings, pairing it with golden arm jewelry and a black heart choker with a ruby inside and matching earrings. She curled the ends of her hair, opting to leave it down and put on natural makeup. Noting that it was nearly time, she headed to the kitchen to feed her dog, patting Yukari's furry little head. 

"Behave. I'll be back later tonight okay?" She tells her pet as her phone rings, the woman immediately answering it. 

"Hello?" She greets cheerfully. 

"Hey, if ya want to head outside I will be there in a moment," Atsumu calls into the phone. 

"Okay. Where are we going tonight?" Misaki wonders curiously.

"You'll see. Hope you brought something to keep ya preoccupied. It's a bit of a drive," he tells her cheekily. 

"It is? What do you mean by that?" Misaki asks, seeing him pull up.

"It's shy of an hour drive. Did ya bring your charger to your phone?"  Atsumu asks out of the window to his car. Misaki nods, holding it up as she crosses over to his car. "I always bring it with me just in case," She nods, smiling slightly as she climbs into his car and buckles herself in. "Good, ya might get bored. I'll let ya decide on the music," He tells her, waiting for her to finish getting buckled and close the door before driving away from the curb. 

Misaki leans forwards, flipping through the stations. When she pauses on one, sounds of her rival band, Silent Ravens fills the car and she frowns. "They have another new song?" She wrinkles her brow as the words to the song fills her ears. "It's been playing on repeat the last two days in a row. You haven't heard it yet?" Atsumu asks. Misaki silently shakes her head, pulling out her phone. "Damn, it's already replaced our song as number one too... Guess that means we have to go back to the studio next week," She frowns.

Atsumu looks over at her worriedly. "Don't overwork yerself," He tells her, knowing that as a form of habit, Misaki usually works herself until she drops. "Yeah, they have been reducing what I am and am not allowed to do recently. I'll be there only 8 hours a day instead of 12 now. They don't want me in there as long," Misaki admits, shaking her head. Atsumu nods. "Ya should stay off of yer feet as much as possible," He agrees.

Frowning at him, Misaki shakes her head. "I'm pregnant, not disabled Atsumu. You don't need to baby me you know," She laughs in disbelief. "Disabled or not, should I have to have a reason to spoil or care about ya?" He points out, raising his eyebrow. She shakes her head, smiling at him. "No, you're right. Thank you Atsumu," She smiles. Then she peers at the road ahead. "So will you tell me where we are going?" She finally asks him.
