Chapter 16:

Damon's P.O.V

Yes! The long weekend starts tomorrow! I can finally hang out with Lily outside of school. Oh wait, what was she telling me about someone coming down for the weekend... Who was it again? Melissa? Michelle? Oh that's right Melody.

"Have you been listening to anything I was saying?" Zac asked snapping me out of my pondering. Oh crap I forgot he started talking to me! Why does this always happen! Actually it only just started happening because all I can think about is Lily.

"Sorry man, what were you saying again?" I asked guilty and he just shock his head.

"Dude you have to stop spacing out. Especially since I was talking about your Mrs's family and -" I cut him off.

"What are you talking about?" Anger was woven into my voice as I raised it. Zac frowned at me.

"Damon! Calm down. God dammit!" Zac threw his hands up in exhaustion.

"Sorry... Continue..." Crap I did it again. I always snap when he brings her family up... I've got to stop doing that. Zac cleared his throat.

"As I was saying, our spy's say that their forces have double within the last few days. It looks like they might be preparing for a blown out attack." I could tell Zac was definitely concerned. Damn, with this I am going to have to be recruiting new members. They might very well over run us soon if I don't do something.

"Alright thanks man, we will sort something out Sunday." Zac nodded then turned back to the front of the class. What subject was this again? Gah! I give up, I don't care anyway.

All I care about right now is Lily...

"Damon are you ready yet?!" Jarrad yelled to me from the car.

I can't believe I agreed to do this... I must have completely lost my mind or something because if I was in my right mind I would have never agreed to this!

"Lord give me strength to get through tonight" I prayed as I looked up at the ceiling. My silent prays were interrupted by A wolf whistle coming from the door to my room.

"What's cooking good looking?" Zac asked winking at me. I rolled my eyes at him and just walked past him towards the front door.

"Now young man I want you in bed by ten and no horror movies. Be a good boy, daddy will be home later." I hollered as I walked through the door. As I walked away I could hear Zac's uncontrollable laughter Eco through the halls.

Checking the time on my watch as I walked to the front of the apartment building, I realised that we were running late. Shit! Lily is going to kill me!! Bolting for the car now, I see Jarrad shaking his head at me.

"SHUT UP AND GET IN QUICK!!!" I yelled as I made my way to the car. Jarrad put his foot down on the accelerator and off we went. Oh god please, please, please don't let Lily be mad at me! Crap!

Lily's P.O.V

Late. Are you serious?! I started pacing back and forth out the front of my house. I swear smoke is fuming out of my ears, because of how mad I am! Stupid Damon! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!!

"Hey, Lily calm down okay? I'm sure they aren't far away." Melody said sweetly trying to calm me down. I let out a breath of exhaustion and made my way to sit on the seat next to her.

"Good girl" she said while patting my head, "Now tell me more about Jarrad" Melody squealed with excitement. Oh man, I have been talking about Jarrad the whole time she has been here ever since I said we should go on a double date so she could meet him.

Mental note to self: Don't organise a double date with Melody ever again.

"Mel..." I whined " I already told you everything I know about him!"

Melody rolled her eyes at me, but before she could protest, the boys came speeding around the corner. Thank god! I'm saved!

"I'm so sorry we are late!" Damon yelled out as he got out of the car and made his way over to us.

"So you should be." I stated looking at him bluntly. He gave me a pouting face and I just shook my head at him and gave him a kiss.

"Nawwww... You two are so cute!" Melody squealed.

"Oh, sorry I was being rude. Melody this is Jarrad, Jarrad this is Melody." Smiling broadly I introduced them. They shook each other's hands and I could see a slight blush creeping across Melody's face. Oh my gosh, they are so cute together.

"Okay let's get going before our table gets replaced." Damon stated firmly. Rolling my eyes at him, I jumped into the back seat with Melody.

Mel and I both looked at each other and we could both tell what the other was thinking. I knew she was thinking 'OH MY GOSH! HE IS SOOOO CUTE!!!' Just like she knew I was thinking 'I TOLD YOU HE WAS SEXY AS!!!' We just ended up bursting into a fit of giggles and laughter.

"Ahhhh... Are you two okay?" Damon asked while looking at us as if we needed to be in a mental institution. We both rolled our eyes at him.

"Yes we are fine." We both stated at the same time then cracked up laughing again. Jarrad let out a little laugh before Damon death glared him and he shut right up.

I don't know what it is about Damon shutting up people, it turns me on,Weird...

In the middle of my mind 'discussion' we ended up at the restaurant just in time. Phew! Lucky!

"Alright let the night begin!" Damon hollered as we exited the car.

Oh please let this be a success! I just know Jarrad and Melody will be perfect for each other!

Holding my breath as we made our way to the entrance of the restaurant, Damon grabbed my hand and intertwined his fingers between mine. He gave me a reassuring smile, and that's when I knew it was going to be okay. As long as Damon was here with me, I knew everything was going to be okay.

As soon as I entered the restaurant, I wished I had never picked this one to come to. Right there in front of us were the two people I didn't want to see here, or anywhere for that matter... Harry and Krystal.

"Well, well, well, fancy seeing you here." Krystal stated with a sly smirk. Before I could jump her and rip her face off Melody beat me to it.

"Whatever Krystal! GO FUCK YOURSELF!" Melody yelled at the top of her lungs. Oh crap. I can't even think of anything to say... Mel never swears... Oh no, she must be really mad.

"Wow that's a first from you Melly." Krystal laughed, which only got Mel even more pissed... Oh shit I gotta stop this... I looked over at Harry and he looked like he was just enjoying the show. What a fricking loser! What the hell was I thinking when I dated him?!

Before I could even attempt to say, or even do anything, Damon let out a low, deadly growl and grabbed the collar of Krystal's shirt. Oh shit... Crap, crap, crap!! I know he doesn't have a problem with punching a chick in the face, so that means if he does he will be going into lock up for the night... Oh no! What do I do?!?!

"Alright guys that's enough..." Jarrad said, trying to reason with everyone. I was so jumbled up I didn't even know what to do or say.

"Yeah guys that's enough" Harry chuckled from the side lines, which just set everyone off. Everyone was yelling at each other and threatening to kill each other, which was giving me a head ache.

Anger was building up within me... Oh no... When that happens all I see is red... When I see red... I don't remember what happens after that...

And here comes the red...
