Chapter 12:
Lilly's P.O.V
When we were inside and Damon put me down, that was the chance I had to have a look around. This 'safe house' was hugey! Damon was right, it was nicer then his apartment. Everything looked newly refurbished and modern. There was no hallway, it was just a big square area with two doors on the right that were the bedrooms and two doors on the left that was the bathroom and toilet. The lounge in the middle had two two-seater couches that were across from each other, with a small coffee table in the middle. On the left of the couches was a HUGE seventy inch plasma, flat screen tv. The kitchen had an island that separated it from the lounge and there was a small area to the right where there was a four seater dinning room table.
All I could think was WOW! This place was nice, I could definitely see myself living here. Damon had already moved from the entry way and sat on one of the two-seaters that was facing me and turned the tv on.
"I'm going to take a shower" I said while turning towards the bathroom when he nodded in response not looking at me.
"The towels are under the basin" he said not paying attention to me.
The bathroom was awesome! It was all black and sliver, very sleek. I took my clothes off quickly and hopped into the shower. After a long deserving shower I jumped out and grabbed a towel.
Crap! I just realised that I don't have any clothes! What am I going to do!?
I walked out of the bathroom, wrapped only in my towel. Damon was still on the couch and when he looked up at me his eyes widened. Oh wait, wasn't I going to pay him back for grabbing my ass? A knowing smirk spread across my face.
"Like what you see?" I asked winking at Damon. A small tinge of red spread across his cheeks and he started coughing. Haha! I am definite going to enjoy this.
I walked over to the lounge and sat on the two-seater opposite him, pulling my legs up to rest on the couch. I could feel his gaze roaming all over my body as I stared at the tv. Why did I like that he was staring at me?
I turned my head to look at him and he was staring straight at me.
"What are you doing?" He asked, his voice came out hoarse and husky. His voice sent shivers through my whole body. Oh my god, why did his voice turn me on?
"What do you mean?" I tried to sound innocent. He raised an eyebrow at me. He was about to retort something, when Jarrad walked through the front door.
I turned my head and smiled at him. He stiffened for a second then made his way over to us. I moved my legs and patted the spot next to me, ignoring Damon's glare. Jarrad sat next to me and I cuddled up next to him, which made him stiffen again.
"Did you bring me some clothes?" I asked. He nodded and handed me one of the bags he was holding. With that I got up and walked to the first room closest to the front door.
Once I was changed I came out and found the boys in the kitchen.
"So... How long are we staying here for?" I asked and they both looked at me before looking at each other.
"Honestly, I don't know" Damon spoke sounding discouraged.
This didn't sound good. Did that mean I could be here for weeks or months or years?? Oh god, what if I become a murderer by then? I don't know how long I can live with Damon for without killing him. God what if I die!? My imagination was starting to get the better of me before Jarrad walk around the island and gave me a hug.
"Don't worry, if you need to talk just give me a call." He whispered into my ear then pulled back and gave me a broad smile.
"What are you whispering about!?" Damon boomed angrily, which made Jarrad stiffen.
