Chapter 8:
Zac's P.O.V
When I saw Lilly, I couldn't help but smile. She was the type of person that makes you happy just by being around her. I ran over to her and gave her a quick hug.
"What are you doing here? And with him?" I asked curiously pointing at Damon. He shook his head and walked out of the hall into the lounge.
She smiled "I'm staying here for a little while, is that okay?" She asked and I could tell she was nervous. I laughed at her and shook my head.
"Of course it's fine" I grinned, before curiosity got the best of me "But why?"
She shifted from foot to foot nervously. "It's a long story..." I took that as a hint to not ask. I shrugged.
"Okay, let me show you around the place and to where your room is" I smiled at her and held my hand out for her to take. She looked at me and raised an eyebrow.
"Don't you want to get changed first?" She chuckled as I looked down at myself. Whoops, I totally forgot I was in just a towel. I smiled sheepishly at her and told her I would be right back.
Once I was changed, I found her in the lounge sitting next to Damon on the two seater couch. I saw Damon's arm resting on the top of the chair behind Lilly. I raised an eyebrow curiously at him, but he couldn't see, because their backs were to me. I snuck up behind them and put my head slightly in between them.
"BOO!" I yelled. They both flew apart from each other and getting to their feet. Lilly had her hand to her chest as she tried to calm her breathing down from the shock. I started laughing so hard my side were hurting and I was starting to cry. Damon walked over to me and smacked me across the head.
"Fucking idiot!" He growled out. Even though he was pissed I couldn't stop laughing. That was the funniest thing to see, Damon scared.
Lilly walked over to me and slapped my arm. "Fricking jerk you gave me a heart attack!" she frowned at me. I laughed even harder, God she was cute when she frowned. She slapped me again and then turned and stormed off. She didn't even know where she was going! That set me off on another fit of laughter.
When I found her after I stopped laughing, she was in the room between Damon's and mine. Damon must have shown her where it was.
I pouted at her and she rolled her eyes. "Come over here" she patted the spot on the bed next to her. I gladly jumped onto the bed and crawled next to her. She shook her head at me and chuckled.
"You're such an idiot"
I laughed "Yeah but you gotta admit it was funny" I grinned at her, which earned me a solid eye roll.
She was studying her math book, just reading it like it was the most interesting love novel. I looked at her side ways, why does she read textbooks and not fictional books about love and all that sloppy shit?
"What?" she asked raising an eyebrow at me. I looked her curiously.
"Why do you read text books and not love novels or something?" She shook her head, like I was dumb.
"Why would I read something that's made up and isn't interesting?" she raised an eyebrow at me, amusement shinning in her eyes. She had a point; I don't read anything at all. When it comes to assignments I always wait till the last minute before I study.
"Very true" Lilly laughed at me and closed her book. She got off the bed and put the book on top of the draws that were by the door. As I was staring at her I only just realised she wasn't in her normal four inch heels and dress that hugged her every curve. That kind of sucks, I love what she normally wears. It makes her even sexier.
