Chapter 10:

Lilly's P.O.V

After lunch, Jarrad and I walked to our next class, which we had together. It was the same class I got detention for last time. I was definitely not looking forward to it.

Jarrad and I made our way to the back of the class and sat down in the two desks at the far left. As I got my books set up on my desk, everyone else started coming in. I only just realised that Sarah was in our class too. Great, another reason why I hate this class.

As we waited for our teacher, Jarrad and I started talking about all the bands we liked. I didn't realise how much we had in common. He loved all the bands I did and told me of a few I didn't know.

After about ten minutes a substitute teacher walked in. YES! I don't have to put up with Mr. Pompse-ass! I think Jarrad noticed my excitement because he started chuckling at me.

"Okay class, today I will be your substitute teacher as Mr. Morison is unwell. He didn't leave any work for you today, so this is a free period to study." Our substitute teacher said while sitting at the desk in the front of the class room. Could my day get any better or what? This was just awesome!

"So..." Jarrad said as he turned to face me "You and Damon, huh?" He wriggled his eyebrows at me. Oh God! Not him too!

"Oh please not you too!" I said in disappointment, closing my eyes as if it hurt to look at him. When I opened my eyes, I saw that Jarrad looked puzzled.

"So there is no you and him?" He asked curiously. I shook my head.

"Definitely not!" I nearly yelled out in class.

"SHH!" Our sub teacher said, before returning to her book she was reading.

Jarrad chuckled "You need to be quieter, or else you're going to get detention again" He laughed a little louder this time. I glared at him.

"It's your fault for saying stupid things" I hissed at him. Jarrad shook his head trying to stifle a laugh.

"You don't need to get so worked up about it. That just makes me think something really is going on." He chuckled.

I rolled my eyes at him. I'm going to ignore him till he begs for me to talk to him, bloody jerk.

It didn't take long before he was pleading me to pay attention to him. I turned and gave him a flat look.

"Will you stop being stupid?" I asked emotionlessly. He nodded slowly before grinning like an idiot.

"So did you hear about the Blink 182 concert coming up soon?" He asked curiously, easily changing the subject. Oh my God, of course I heard about it!

"Yes!" I squealed, before being told to be quiet by the teacher, again. I rolled my eyes at her and grinned at Jarrad.

"Well I have two tickets if you want to come with me?" Jarrad was blushing, but I couldn't care less. I leaped onto him and hugged him while straddling his lap.

"OF COURSE I WILL COME WITH YOU!" I beamed at him, squeezing him tightly against me. He let out a roar of laughter, before the teacher silenced us.

"That's it! You two detention now!" She growled out. I shrugged; guess it's inevitable that I'm going to get sent to detention every lesson with this class. Oh well, I don't care, because I get to see BLINK 182!!! SHIT YEAH!! I fist pumped the air mentally. Today is the happiest day of my life!

Damon's P.O.V

The detention door opened showing Jarrad and Lilly holding hands as they walked in. WAIT! THEY ARE HOLDING HANDS! WHAT THE FUCK?!
