Chapter 17

Chapter 17:

Damon's P.O.V

From all the things I could ever see in my life... This was not one of them...

There she was, standing before me in her beautiful baby blue dress that fitted her perfectly in all the right places... Covered in blood...

I didn't know what to do, out of no where Lily attacked that chick I was holding and broke both her arms in three places, then smashed her head into the concrete wall. I looked over to Harry and his face fell. From all his babble all I could make out was "Oh no, she has gone red..."

Now here I am watching her approach Harry. Should I stop her or do I just let her kill him? No. I know Lily, she wouldn't want this, I have to think of a way to stop her... But how?

"Okay Lily, calm down. There is no need to get this angry." Harry tried to reason with her as he backed away, but I could tell his words were going nowhere.

I looked to Melody and she was just stunned. Jarrad was trying to talk to her, but she couldn't even move, she was just too scared. Okay, I may not know what to do but getting them away is a start.

"Jarrad! Pick Melody up and go to the car! Wait for me there, alright?!" I yelled to him as I made my way to Lily. Jarrad gave me a solid nod, but I could tell he was worried. To be honest so am I, I have fought Lily before and she is strong. She could even be stronger then me, but I'm not going to run away and let her get arrested.

I looked over to the waiter at the restaurant entrance, he looked so frightened. Shit I would be too if I didn't know who the chick was that just went on a blood thirsty rampage. But, I do know who she is and just how lovely she is usually, so I can't leave.

"You" I said angrily to the waiter, "go inside, lock the doors, but don't you dare call the cops. I will have your head if you do, got it?" The waiter was trembling, but he managed to give me a nod, before he ran to the doors and locked them.

Alright everyone else is safe, so we should be okay. I looked at the chick on the ground, for a second I thought she was dead, but her chest was moving, so I know she's not.

Alright time to stop Lily... I just hope I can...

I made my way towards Lily and Harry, she had him backed up to a wall, with nowhere to go. Crap he is screwed if I don't do something soon. I was about to say something, but Harry held his hand up indicating for me to be quiet.

"There is no point in trying to reason with her when she is like this. This has happened before and all I could do to stop her was hit her over the head to knock her out." Harry said, fear was clearly seeping out of him, because where we are currently, there are no weapons. What do I do?!

Lily reached her hand out towards Harry, which made him begin trembling. Wow, never thought I'd see that, but then again she does look scares in this state. Then out of nowhere she brought her hand up and scratched the side of Harry's face.

"Aarrrggggggg!!" Harry cried out as he fell to his knees, blood pouring out from the right side of his face. Crap I have to do something! But what?! Lily prepared herself for another blow.

"ENOUGH!!" I yelled at the top of my voice, trying to make my voice sound authoritative. She stopped mid strike, and swiftly turned to face me. Anger was written all over her face, and by the look in her eyes, I could tell she couldn't recognise me.

"Lily that's enough. You have done enough, now please stop and come here..." My voice came out soft and sincere. I saw her expression change slightly, but not fully. I held my hand out to her.

"Come... Let's go beautiful." I smiled sweetly at her, which made her expression change completely. Her face went back to normal, and she looked around her. Tears sprung to her eyes and ran down her face.

"W-what have I-I done?" She mumbled as she fell to her knees, with her face in her hands. I quickly made my way to her and picked her up.

"It's okay beautiful everything will be okay." I tried reassuring her as I patted her head and put her face to rest on my chest. She sobbed uncontrollably into my shirt, but I could care less. I'm just so happy she is okay.

"Harry, I'll send some boys over to sort this all out. You can disappear, and I'll get them to take the girl to a hospital. However, no one is to hear of this, alright?" My voice was stern and full of power. Harry just nodded in response and got to his feet then ran away.

Lily was still crying into my chest, but it wasn't as uncontrollable. When I got to the car, all the boys were there already. Jarrad must have called them, man he is good.

"What happened?!" Zac yelled, throwing his hands up in the air.

"Nothing happened. I need you to take Jack and Dale with you to the restaurant. There is a girl on the floor with two broken arms and a bleeding head-" Zac cut me off.

"WHAT?! You call that nothing?!" He cried out in anger. I gave him a death stare, which made him back down.

"As I was saying, she needs to be taken to the hospital. Jack I want you to pay the doctor, to make sure he doesn't talk and you can say you just found her. Dale I want you to clean up the mess and make it look like nothing ever happened. Now Zac, you are to go to the restaurant and speak to the owner. Pay him for any damages and pay him for the security video, because it would have gotten everything that happened okay?" There was no arguing with me and they all knew it. They just nodded and set off to do what had to done.

"How is she?" Jarrad asked concerned. Lily had fallen asleep in my arms, and god did she look peaceful and beautiful, even with blood on her face. I smiled to Jarrad.

"She is okay now. How is Melody?" Jarrad nodded towards the car, and there she was. She was just sitting there eyes wide open and in shock.

"She hasn't moved or said anything..." I could tell Jarrad was concerned for her. I held Lily out towards Jarrad.

"Here hold her, and I'll go talk to her" he nodded and took Lily from me. I didn't really want to let her go, but I had to. I gave her a soft kiss on the forehead and then walked to the car.

"Hey, everything is okay now, she's asleep." My voice came out calm and friendly. Melody turned her head towards me, she had an unreadable expression on her face.

"How?" She whispered through her lips. I looked at her confused.

"What?"

"How?! How did you get her to stop?!" She yelled, anger filled her face. Why was she bloody angry?

"I just told her to stop?" Confusion was laced through my voice. Melody looked stunned, confused and surprised, all in one.

"W-what? I tried that last time... But... She didn't... She turned on me..." Tears began to spring to her eyes. Ah crap, I can't stand seeing a crying chick.

"Hey don't worry, everything is okay now." i said trying to sound comforting. then it occured to me what she said.

"Wait, you said this happened before?" Now I'm confused, it happened before? Melody slowly nodded, pain crossed her expression as she thought back to it.

"What happened?" I need to know. I need to know why this happens to her. Melody looked up to me, her eyes were full of pain and sadness. Oh no, this can't be good.

Her voice was soft and barely audible, but I made out the three words she said.

She. Killed. Someone.
