3. Detention

After I spent the last 10 minutes trying to clean that shit off, I rushed to class with Lex , we heard some assholes who ditched class making fun of me as we rushed through the corridors.
'mxm/tsk-(sound of a tongue click) Barsterds'

We reach our class and entered, about 30 pairs of eyes were on us including the teachers
'damn I know I'm hot but looking into my soul like this should be illegal'
"May I know why you two are late" Mr Martin asked.
"Well sir if Mr Rainford learnt to keep paint on paper and not on people we wouldn't have to had spend the last ten minutes of your period trying to clean it off" said Lexi.
" I see ....... Rainford detention Tommorow" he said.

" Sir shouldn't she also receive a detention for tardiness" Zack says with a stupid smirk on his face.

" I was only late because of you...it's your fault I had to stop by the girls room to clean the paint off" I sneer at Zack.

"Okay both of you quite it .... Rainford.detention.tommorow....am I clear?...now can we all get on with our lives" Mr Martin says and turns back to the class that were making noise.

'what was I thinking when choosing a career...these brats are giving me gray hair' i hear him mumble and sigh before he yelled at them to shut up

I take my seat and get out my note book...but I feel Zack looking at me from the side of my eye..
This is going to be a long day.

It was finally the end of the school day...I rushed to the parking lot and saw Blake and Karen already there waiting for me.

" Awww Lyn are you okay...saw what happened on a video posted online" Karen grabs me into a hug.
" Boys can be so mean..." She says rubbing my back, I just nod and stand awkwardly in her embrace.
My brother clears this throat.
" How about we stop at the café before we go home... I'm paying " my brother says , trying to make me feel better by bringing food into the situation.
" Sure" I say. " Aren't you gonna threaten the ass that did this to her " Karen asked getting into the car with the rest of us as we head to the cafe.
"Well yeah....but think of it this way Karen, what if the poor dude just likes her and is trying to get her attention...I mean you know what they say if a boy troubles you... he likes you" my brother tries to reason but Karen smacked him on he head .
"Owww what was that for" he whines.
" For the bullshit that just came out of your mouth...in that case let's abuse boys and see if they'll use that same line..if she likes you she's gonna kick your ass... What bullshit" Karen says mumbling the last part...I couldn't agree more and that is why I like Karen.

"Ugh babe you'know I didn't mean it like that...I mean look at me and you...I used to trouble you and look at us now.....you can't wait to see me.. back then you couldn't wait to run away from me" Blake says , making Karen blush,as he gives her a loving peck on the lips...

'awww how cute...they have just the cutest relationship ever it's such a cliche..I almost get jealous at how much love they hold for each other'

We pull into the café and go to a table near the window..we order what we want.
'and mind you I took advantage of the fact Blake was paying'

I set there quietly as Blake and Karen chatted ,listening and watching how cute of a couple they were..
'must be nice having a someone who makes you happy and smiling till your jaws ache....or for them to look at you with so much love in thier eyes, it looks painful '

Blake reaches over and steals something off Karen's plate..
" Heyyyy Blake...that's mine" she giggles

' yeah Frick what I said about having someone, all they'll do is steal my food...and mind you.. food makes me happy .. Even if my relationship with food is one sided it's fine...so what if I have to be the lady with 30 cats and no husband ..I'll always have food..and diabetes and cholesterol probably'
Haha.... well what do you know, my love for food will kill me
