39. Avoiding the question

~ Zack's pov~✿in Madilyn's body✿

"Gather around everyone" the Instructor yells as she blows her whistle. 'Goodness woman, it's like 7 in the morning ,shut up'.
It was a cold and early morning and I was in no mood to be yelled at, in fact I was in no mood to go on this stupid fucking camping trip that requires you to wake up early 'Whose fricking idea was this?'.

"I'm sure you all are excited to go on this trip, it was stated that it's three days long and it's to build team skills and insure you are in good physical condition...this is purely educational so I don't want any nonsense, I will be sure to hand out suitable punishments if anyone dares to try their luck...but overall I hope you all have fun" the woman says. ' Good physical condition?, Woman my abs are bigger than your brain.', and 'Fun?' yeah right I wipe my ass with that word.

"please everyone find a partner for now and get on the bus" she says ' I know if I was in my own body right now I'd pair up with Max but I guess Lexi isn't so bad', so I look around to see if I can find her.

I see her talking to...is that Max?...and she's blushing?...'Thats my boy, looks like he finally grew some balls, mahn I have so many questions but I  guess it will have to wait until I'm me again'.

speaking of questions, everytime I ask Lyn about last week's dinner she seems to try and avoid it... avoid me, and my patients is running out, besides wasn't I the one who was supposed to distance myself from her? 'Even if that is impossible because I'm in her body'
I look around to see if I can see her anywhere but to my disappointment no luck.

Lexi walked up to me looking like a walking tomato already knowing that we will be sitting together 'because she's been blubbering about this damn trip for weeks', she grabs my hand and drags me onto the bus.

'Yay let the fun begin' I think sarcastically.

"So about last week's dinner-" I start but get interrupted by the blow of a whistle.

so we were finally at the camp site, I can't say it's anything special because honestly this just seems like a nightmare and because I didn't take the liberty to actually look around. I was with Madilyn trying to ask about what happened but here I get interrupted and the relief that washes over her face is making me even more uneasy and suspicious.

"Hi everyone, my name is Ashley but you can call me Ash , I am the team leader/instructor any queries you may have don't hesitate to  come to me...So the camping equipment is right over here, I suggest you grab a tent to set up before noon" A woman in her late twenties says while motioning toward the stack of equipment to the left.

"I have a query, I don't want to be here" Tiffany says, 'Bitch no one wants to be here, especially with your annoying ass' I roll my eyes.

"That's a shame but I do urge you to get a tent and start setting up or your perfectly manicured nails will be chewed off by a raccoon or something" Ash says making Tiffany gasp in horror while running to grab a tent. ' I wonder how much that manicure costed to have her Running like that to prevent anything from happening to it?'.

"Four people per tent, here is a list with the names of the people you will be on a team with" Ash says passing around a paper.

I am a little disappointed that me and Madilyn aren't on the same team ' I guess I'll have to ask her about the dinner another time?'. I'm a little annoyed that Tiffany and one of her sheep 'Olive'  or something are on the same team as me but I'm glad that Lexi is too.

"let's go help Cruella devil over there before she breaks something" Lexi says nudging me motioning to Tiffany and her friend who are trying to set up the tent.I have half a mind to say that we should let them do it themselves but then I remembered that we will all be sharing a tent and I don't think I want to sleep in a deformed tent tonight so I nod and head over to help them build it, by the time we were done it was already noon.
