Chapter 7

Shit!

Two students death wasn't enough, that now Adria is also missing? First, Sungwoo then Mei, and now Adria! Wait- Isn't it something like that? I need to check it right now!

Taehyung's pov 

Everyone was either angered or super terrified. Saehee is really intelligent, she is continuously discussing everything with our teachers. No wonder Jungkook keep praising this girl all the time. Speaking about him, that boy just got lucky. Atleast he is safe from this sick game. All I need to do now is get ourselves out of this mess already.

Talking about y/n where is this girl?

I looked through the students to find a glimpse of y/n leaving the hall in a hurry. What the hell is this girl up to? She is gonna be the reason of my death!

*deep sigh* Well what am I waiting for? I need to go after that tiny witted girl!

Taehyung's pov end

Taehyung hurried up and tried to catch up with y/n who was running towards the teacher's staff room. They both looked at each other before entering the room. Y/n straight away went towards the notice board and started looking through them.

Y/n's pov

"I FOUND IT!!" I stated firmly.

"Found what?" Taehyung asked curiously.

"Just look at this rank list, the students are being killed in the ascending order of our ranks"

"Wait- you mean all of this has to do with rank? Then atleast I have a long run to go. See, this is why I tell to not study that much seriously" 

"This is not the time to joke!"

"I was just trying to ease the atmosphere-"

I turned towards him with a poker face. He gulped and mumbled a apology. I turned back towards the board and tried to analyze the situation.

"Look there, it actually matches the order. First Sungwoo, then Mei, and then Adria."

"Hmm"

"Wait- Next  is Chayeong  and Jaemin. And then only comes Saehee and me! What should we do.. where is Saehee.. oh my God.. Taehyung I am gonna di-"

Soon I found two arms engulfing me from behind. I hate to admit but I felt so safe and warm. I really needed this comfort at the moment.

"Shh.. I am right here. I won't let anyone harm you. If you die whom would I annoy huh?"

"YOU-" before I could continue someone interrupted.

"Where the hell were you two. Oh my eyes-" -??? blurted out.

Oh, it was Saehee. But wait, me and Taehyung were still hugging each other. I pushed him away from me. I quickly ran towards Saehee before she would think it differently.

"Saehee, don't overreact, we didn't do anything and arrr... we just hugged by mistake-"

"MISTAKE? Heck it was not a mistake! Even if it was, I don't think you pushing me was a mistake as well." Taehyung blurted out from, well- shoot. I didn't even notice I pushed him down. It is not like I meant it.

"I didn't push you intentionally, it was just- wait, Saehee are you okay? And the other students, are they all together?"

"Calm down! And listen you young lad, if it wasn't for you both, I wouldn't have bothered to come here." Saehee interrupted me before I could go on with any other questions.

"Okay, so I just got ignoredd..." Taehyung mumbled, but I didn't have the time or energy to react to him. My main concentration was on the current situation .

"Well Saehee, for you to know I analyzed that the students are being killed in the ascending rank order. And if we go according to that our numbers are right after Chayeong and Jaemin!"

"Well- okay I get it, but before that we need to find Adria and tell the other students about this" Saehee told us.

"Well for that maybe we should go first instead of being here, and better find some help before we all die!" Taehyung was right! We need to alert everyone before some more unfortunate cases happen.

I wonder who could be behind all this.
