Adia sat there stiff, her knees stopped shaking, her sweaty palms intertwined squeezing each other trying to let out the fustration.
She could feel Patricx hard hands on her shoulder which wasn't well enough to comfort her especially while seeing Aida beside her, running her hands through her hair her head hung low. Adia could not understand what Aida was feeling, is it anger, fustration? And most of all she didn't understand why Aida was acting this way.
'I loves you more than that, always' those words were hanging in her head, a tear drop escaped from Adia's eyes. It wasn't because of sadness, it was anger and disappointment over herself. She let down every person who cared about her. Looking back all she could do was wish if she could change certain things.
On the screen she could see how happy she was, how happy they all were.
She was craving to go back to that day just to be there, just to taste her mother's special cakes that she usually makes for their birthdays. June 7, 2013 was one of that day. The day she always loved to remember but forgot to recently.
It was just her family and Kallie.
Adan, her father would follow everyone with his old film camera. 'Something to embarrass you when you kids get old' he would say, so determined to embarrass us.
'Honey, put that thing down and help me here' Rizia, her mom would shout. And of course, her beloved father won't and will continue on his documenting.
Adia's mind wandered to the venerupis philipinarium clam shell that her brother, Anris gave her that day, on her 10th birthday. Not something that great but it was for Adia who would admire it all day by gracing her fingers on it's smooth surface. It is still there in her room safely.
Adia's fingers were always caressing the petals of the daisy that day which was pinned on her hair, kallie's gift for Adia, her favourite flower.
She couldn't get her head out of that day after watching that video. The day she got her own piano. She could never forget it.
It was wierd when she saw her dad's camera on Anris's hand as her father would never put his camera in that much of endangerment.
Soon Kallie came and covered Adia's eyes with both of her hands and led her to the living room. Kallie removed her hands as her father revealed the piano by taking off the white cloth that was laid over the piano.
At that moment Adia was the happiest person alive. She rushed towards her father ignoring the piano and hugged him as he lifted her up as they held each other tight.
"Happy Birthday, sweetheart" he patted on her back.
"Thank you so much, dad" she said pressing her chin on his shoulder.
"You deserve all the love from the world"
"What if the world doesn't want to?"
"I loves you more than that, always" he placed a kiss on her forehead.

Later, it was more than one teardrop that escaped from Adia's eyes.
The silence in the room increased the tension.
"Shall i get something for us to drink" Patricx asked to ease the situation but none of them replied so he took that as a 'yes' and went in to the kitchen.
"What do you think they will be doing right now?" Aida questioned her gaze fixed on the screen as if she was waiting Patricx to leave them to shower her with questions.
Adia felt a pain in her chest. It was not like she haven't given a thought about it but it was the thought itself that made her unsteady. 'What will they be doing right now? Have they even find out?'
"You left" Aida mumbled through her tears.
"You left everything" she clenched the edge of the couch with her palms."You don't know what its like" Adia stated blankly.
"Who does, but you are not alone" Adia snorted hearing the same cliché sentence.
"Maybe yesterday you was in your darkest night but the sun will surely rise again to lead every creature into the bliss of life in the light of dawn" After a deep breath Aida continued, "Why did you do it?"
"To disappear, I guess"
It was now Aida's chance to snort at her."Have you ever asked yourself why you despise yourself so much" She was raising her voice at this rate that Patricx came from the kitchen and tried to calm them down as his every attempt failed as Aida continued "Have you even to tried to get help, cause trust me people would".
Aida kicked the couch fiercely and stood up and continued yelling at Adia.
"Look at you now, away from your loved ones, a total mess!"
"Enough!"
Adia knows she is a mess and she didn't needed Aida to constantly remind her. She stood up from the couch as well as she couldn't take it anymore.
They both were a total mess now, red eyes, sniffy nose and crowded mind.
"Why are you here then. What about you huh!" Adia lifed Aida's arm to their eye level holding the scar on her wrist infront of Aida's eyes.
"Well, you are such a saint then" Adia let go of her wrist as it fragily fell beside Aida.
Aida glared at her with blood red eyes and took her arm harshly by her hand and pulled her towards the door.
"Aida, what are you doing" Patricx yelled from behind them as she opened the door.
"Aida stop!" He rushed past the door.
"Aida listen" he tried to settle her down but stopped eventually as he finally gained a hurtful gaze from her.He watched them silently moving away from him, through the snow. He saw the hurt in Aida's eyes, he always did. The day when he found out a scared girl nearby the waterfall he never knew how much of fondness he would grow towards Aida through all the days that he had introduced the new world to her. And now he had to let go the one who always felt like his own daughter for what she was meant to do according to her 'to rewrite the story' she would say. He is not sure that she will come back because of what's holding for her but he couldn't abandon his hope for that it's the only thing that he have.
Even though she was pulling Adia's hand harshly he knew that she doesn't have a single drop of hatred towards her.
He didn't call them, he let them go.
Under his breath he wispered to the space watching the two shadows in the snow drift away from him "come back home, Aida".
