I turned around casually, back to my friends when I felt an arm on my shoulder forcefully turning me back around again.

We found ourselves at another party. Except in this one, both of us weren't pretending anymore. We actually smiled and laughed and had a great time. I was wearing a dark blue dress while Akil this time was wearing a dark blue tux.

At this party, even Jaz, Priya, Landon, and Harji were there. We were all pretty much having fun. There was one person missing though, it was Arun. I hadn't seen him in days and for some reason Akil never wanted to talk about him.
My thoughts halted when I saw my brother and Geetha chechi. Along with my parents of course. I grabbed Akil and we walked over to greet them. Mumma gave me a big hug and Akil managed to have a conversation with my dad.
"Guess what?" Geetha chechi said excitedly.
"What?"
"I'm pregnant!" she exclaimed.
"Wait really?"
My eyes traveled to Varun who was smiling widely.
"2 months." he added.
"You bad guy-" I punched him lightly on the torso, "I'm so happy for you two."
I suddenly felt someone grab my wrist. Akil grabbed me and we both walked into an empty hall.
"Your brother and his wife are having their first kid."
"So?"
"We've been married for an entire year."
"Yeah so."
He didn't respond with words. Instead I felt his lips gently brush against mine. He pulled away for a moment to see my reaction but I dived in for his lips once again.
We were caught in the moment when I saw a flash. I turned around to see Jaz taking a picture. Right behind her was Landon, Priya, and Harji.
"What are you guys doing?" I asked.
"Care to explain what you're doing?" Priya asked.
"Making out duh." Jaz answered.
"Would you care to leave me and my wife alone?"
"Whatever." they all mumbled in unison. That left me and Akil alone together again.
"So will you jump my bones Princess?"
"Gladly."
With one last kiss to end the night we drove home in a rush to get the long night started.

I woke up to find myself snuggled closely to Akil. But that wasn't the bad part. I was practically naked. All I had on was Akil's shirt. Akil on the other hand was only wearing a pair of boxers.
"Did we seriously-"
"Yes we did." he answered.
"Promise you won't talk about that later?"
"Promise."
I took a full scan of the room. There were clothes from last night scattered everywhere. Then I checked the time. 6:13.
"I would love to sleep with you longer but L'shana will be here any minute and if she see the room like this-"
