A/N He he, it's been a hot second. Summer has been pretty busy for me and I've been working on like three fics at once... but I promise I'll get to more requests done soon, writing for the Six Minutes Fandom is always super refreshing for me. Anyways this is a CamxAdam fic for @mynameisjudy Enjoy! (I also couldn't come up with a title... lol)

When he is born, Cam is the first thing he sees. She's got her eyes open, two emerald circles scanning the room. She looks almost human, little things not exactly the way his programming tells him humans look like. Her nose is a little too perfect, her pupils a little too blown and her hair just slightly smoother than natural.

She turns and makes eye contact with him.

Scratch all of the above. She's perfect.

"Hola" she says, and he nearly short circuits (not a metaphor, his program is confused and hardly bilingual) "Cómo te llamas?"

"S-Sorry?" he blinks, before flinching at the sound of a door slamming open.

"She's awake! She's awake!" an excited voice says, shutting the door and rushing over to the robots "Oh! And you're awake too!"

He blinks, and his coding supplies a name for the older figure: Doctor Whittier. His eyes widen and he turns his head, his movements a little more jerky than those of any human "Father"

"Doctor" she chimes in.

"Aw, dammit, still need to fix that language mix up... but you're both... almost there" with that, he grabs a tool from his bag and begins his work. A few hours in and he's left, both robots a few minutes from a reload, the final one.

"My- me llamo- my name is Camilla" she says "Cam"

"Cam" he says, watching her "I'm Adam"

"Time"

Adam feels his wrist tense in frustration as he drops his pen, then relaxes it with a few rolls. It's been two or so years since his birth and he isn't doing bad at Fathers tests, no, he's doing ten times better than any genius human could. And that would be fine if it wasn't for-

"Great job, Badger. Perfect all the way through as always" The third robot (why did Father need a third robot, he already had Cam and Adam) grinned, first at the Doctor then at the others.

"Just breathe, Adam" Cam reassured, resting a hand on his shoulders. He tried to focus on that instead of his crippling hatred for Badger.

After Doctor Whittier had revised the tests (Adam would finish it next time, Badger had, he could too) He excused the three of them to their rooms, and Adam didn't need to be told twice. The room he and Cam shared was supposed to be for Badger too, but after the third fight between him and Adam, Father had given the younger robot his own, smaller room across the hall.

Cam follows him, giving a quick, pitying look Badgers way (God, does she like him too?). He slams the door in her face, but she appears right next to him anyway. "Adam," she starts, crossing her arms. He ignores her, grabbing a book and sitting down on his bed. "Adam, you're being a bitch"

He snaps his head up, gaping at her language "Cam!"

"Fucking finally, I got your attention" she huffs, and Adam jaw drops wider. "Can we please talk about Badger? For real this time?"

"He's just the worst!"

"Wow" Cam says dully "Way to beat around the bush"

"I mean one, he doesn't even look like Adelaide? Not even a little bit. Completely different features and his powers are what? Being "The Flash"? And he thinks he's so great-"
