A/N I've been watching Supernatural lately, so the theme/ title is inspired by Cas :)

This is a one shot requested by @Darthbooks78 ! I'm thinking of only doing drabbles for requests, cause I like when they turn out shorter. Hope you like it!

 It's fine, Badger thinks.

Holiday is staring off into the distance again, a lost look on her face. She's been doing that for days, looking into the sunset and thinking about a future she won't have. A family, she won't have. Badger needs to confront her, to go up to her and ask what's up, why she's so distracted and if this phase will end. "It's fine, Adam says it will end" Badger reminds himself "We just have to wait, this will blow over soon. It's fine"

Either way, Badger sits down next to Holiday one sunset, when she's sitting on a rock and petting a nearby parrot. The birds scram as Badger scoots next to her, causing Holiday to look up and smile softly at him, her mind still far away.

Badger clears his throat, and starts "Whatcha thinkin' about, Holiday?" It's awkward, but Holiday doesn't seem to care, she just shrugs, continuing to think about humans. About the Anders.

"Why are you so interested in them?" he spits out, and it's much more bitter than he intended, but that's fine since it seems to get Holidays' attention.

"Interested in who?"

"The Anders, Holiday. That- that stupid picnic family that you wanted to visit, and you told me would stop whatever-" he gestures toward her "-this is"

Holidays eyes soften, but she's already focused on the sunset again "They're human, Badger. Do you know how beautiful that is?"

Badger snorts "No, Holiday, I don't"

She shakes her head "Their amazing. You and Cam and Adam and me... we're pretty cool, but we're just made of nuts and bolts and an old man's longing for his dead daughter. Humans are beautiful"

"Yeah, and we're perfect, Holiday" he's angry now, and he can feel the tears brimming in the back of his eyes "We are literally the smartest things in the world. We can do anything they can do, only a million times better. They kill people, they steal, they make so many mistakes. We do none of the above, ever. We are above them, Holiday. We're perfect, you know that" He know he sounds like Adam, and he know Holiday must hate that, but he can't stop talking.

"Isn't that exactly the point, Badger" Holiday looks dreamy, oblivious to his tears "Humans are terrible, humans make mistakes. Humans are terrifying and they will never stop destroying and creating and destroying again. That's why... that's why they're amazing. Don't you get tired of paradise? Of perfection?"

"No, Holiday. Because I have you" because I love you "Because I have Adam and Cam and YOU"

Holiday shakes her head "I just want a life, Badger. I just want a family"

Holiday, you have one right here.

☆♥☆♥

Badger watches the love of his life fall. It was both over time, since the moment he saw her, and right in those three seconds of tumbling from a helicopter. She asks him to wipe her memory and he can't do that, Holiday, you can't ask me to do that. But he does, and she falls and he feels like kissing her. Or crying.

He'll have to settle for crying, because she's falling, falling, falling into the sea like a fallen angel who chose to love humanity rather than live in paradise. He wants to see her again, he wants her to come back, but he knows that Holiday is never going to willingly come back to heaven. She's going to fall, and keep falling, and she won't stop until she's too far for him to reach.

Badger wants to fall with her, but he knows he can't. Adam would break down and Cam would never forgive him. But maybe someone will drag him, wipe him of his memories and push him into her arms, so they can climb back to paradise together.

A/N Hope you enjoyed! I really had a lot of fun writing this one :) Requests will be back open soon!

Edit: FUC- Okay, so there was a glitch in my word doc and all the italics turned into CAPS LOCK. I absolutely hate myself for it but its edited now and EVERYTHING IS OKAY! Crisis averted. If you were one of the unlucky people who read this before the edit... I am so sorry, you must think I'm a lunatic.
