"o-m-g!" i shout.

nick shoved me over at he grabs another ball and shoots it, and of course makes it.

"how're you so good at basketball?" i chuckle.

i grab a ball and toss it in the air, it hits the ceiling and comes back down.

"i dunno. i used to come here a lot with my dad when i was a kid and he always loved this game. so i guess it's because of him.." nick smiles softly.

i bet he misses his dad.

"awww." i respond, and chucking another ball in the air; another miss, no surprise there.

"hey, let's go play some ski ball." i suggest.

"i'm kind of hungry, you?" nick asks.

i shrug, "i could go for some food."

we trot around, hand in hand, looking for a place to eat. there are little booths of different food variety's in this big arcade center.

"oh, tacos sound good!" i say.

"so does sushi!" nick replies back.

i chuckle, "sushi sounds good."

nick orders our food while i find a table. there's so many people here with smiles on there faces; just like nick & i. i feel like we're doing great so far, you know in the relationship & all.

i don't know what to call it. we're dating but we're like the best of friends, too. i think we're just perfect for each other.

i glance over at nick and see him laughing at a girl. it's a short girl with blonde hair; she's pretty. i watch her smile, and her eyes light up.

nick gives a smile & wave as she walks away...they must know each other. maybe a little too well....
