re-living

F O U R T E E N

i wake up in an empty bed. it's cold and lonely. i check on nicks pillow and there's a note.

good morning beautiful. i'm out with a friend, i'll be back later! i love you

i smile.

i stretch and happily make my way to the kitchen and make myself some cereal. i'm only wearing one of nicks t-shirt's, which is oversized on me.

i sit on the couch and watch greys anatomy for a couple hours before nick comes home.

he bursts through the door in a good mood.

"hey baby." i say.

"hi!" he practically shouts.

i jump but then laugh.

"why're you so happy?" i ask.

"because i'm with the absolute love of my life." he admits.

i swoon. he's adorable.

i walk over towards his and give him a long kiss on the lips.

"i love you." i say.

his face stops smiling and his eyes meet mine.

"i-i'm sorry." nick stutters.

"for what baby?" i ask. my anxiety starts to creep up on me.

"i'm drunk...." nick confesses.

i sigh, "it's okay."

it's not, but i don't feel like being disappointed right now. especially since my show is starting to get really good.

"no, i got drunk because someone poisoned me. & i think i made a huge mistake...." nick spits.

"oh okay. what did you do?" i ask.

"i slept with someone. she made me do it, she tied me up and she did everything to me. she even told me to come break up with you, but i told her no." nicks crying.

& i am too.

"what the hell? who is this girl?" i ask nick. he seems like he's telling the truth, he looks like he feels awful about it.

& i know he's not the type of person to do this on purpose.

i comfort him under my arm and kiss his forehead.

"i can't remember her name. it was someone i knew from school. she came up to me while i was at Chuys with Mark and James. & she said you're handsome. i told her thank you but i have a girlfriend. & she said i'm sure she's not as pretty as i am. & i said nope, cause she's prettier. she kept arguing back & forth with me. then finally i said i'm done, can i please have more to drink. she must've poisoned me because next thing i remember i woke up to her riding me. she was kissing all over me & i was trying to shove her off. but she wouldn't budge. she did it for a couple minutes longer & then she told me to come here. i said okay & im never going out again by myself. you come with me, okay?" nick says & cries even more.
