Harry's POV

I put the headphones over my head as I listened to the instrumentals for the music. I looked down at my notepad as the instruments played.

"Just stop your crying it's the sign of the times," I sang into the microphone. "Welcome to the final show, hope you're wearing your best clothes," I closed my eyes as listened to the music.

I opened my eyes to see everyone watching me, admiring me. I scanned across the room until my eyes landed upon hers.

Sadie was creeping towards everyone because she was a bit late. She smiled as our eyes met. Megan was holding on tightly to her hand.

Megan ran up to Sarah, hugging her waist tightly.

"You can't bribe the door on your way to the sky," I sang into the microphone. Sadie's eyes softened as she heard me singing. "You look pretty good down here, but you ain't really good," I sang, looking at her.

Little does she know it's written from her perspective.

For Max.

"If we never learned we've been here before," I closed my eyes and started lightly tapping my foot. "Why are we always stuck and running from, the bullets," I opened my eyes again to see Megan hop onto Sadie's lap.

Sadie rested her chin on the top of Megan's head. She smiled softly as she listened to my voice. I sang through the song, hoping this would be the last time we recorded it. Sadie seemed to like it, or at least I hope so.

I couldn't decipher the emotions flashing over her face.

Sadness, comfort, happiness, all at once.

"We got to get away," I sung out loudly, belting the words. I the last final note, making sure to add as much emotion as I could. I finished off the song and took off the headphones.

I took a deep breath as I stepped away from the microphone. I heard claps ring out around me. I looked at everyone hollering and clapping.

Megan clapped happily, clearly just copying everyone. I looked at Sadie as she wiped underneath her eyes. She smiled at me and starting clapping too.

Megan looked back at Sadie and tilted her head. Megan's tiny hands came to Sadie's face. Megan cupped Sadie's face and pushed her cheeks together. Sadie laughed as she shook her head.

"I'm happy," Sadie said to her. "See," She smiled widely. Megan poked her cheeks. A smile crept up on my face as I watched them.

"Just a few more touches and we've got another song," Jeff smiled at me as he walked over to his computer. I walked straight towards Sadie.

"I'm glad you could make it," I held my arms out and wrapped them around her. She squeezed me extra tight. "And you," I looked down at Megan. I scooped her up in my arms and started running around the room, making noises.

She laughed widely as I held her upside down. I finally put her back down on the ground. She ran to Sarah as soon as I put her down.

"That song was so amazing," Sadie said. She looked like she couldn't believe what just happened.

"Thank you, Sadie," I smiled at her. I couldn't help but smile when I looked at her.

I wish I could tell her how much I liked her, but that would lead to a very sad song about rejection.

I still couldn't hate her if she didn't want to be with me. She wouldn't want to hurt me. She'd probably feel bad for not liking me back.

I'm fine with being friends with her, but I wished so desperately we were more than that.
