"Good morning," I stepped through the front doors of Beachwood. I was actually here at my regular time this morning.

"Good morning darling," Margret grabbed the ceramic coffee cup off of the shelf and started making my drink. "Did you get your car figured out?" She furrowed her eyebrows and put her hands on her hips.

"I'm going to get it after I finish my coffee actually," I nodded and took a seat in my normal spot.

"Do you want a ride there darling? It's quite a ways away," She was quick to ask.

"No," I shook my head. "I like walking around," I nodded and she shook her head.

"I could call Harry and he could give you a ride," She turned around and started mixing my drink.

"No, no," I shook my head even though she couldn't see me. "Kay doesn't have work today. If I don't feel like walking I will call her," I didn't want Harry thinking he was going to be driving me around everywhere.

"Harry would be glad to take you that's all I'm saying," She walked over to me with my drink. She set it down in front of me. "Do you like him?" She tilted her head and furrowed her eyebrows.

"No," I shook my head and scoffed. "I mean I like him. He's a nice guy, but I don't like him," I shook my head and took a drink of my coffee.

"I think you too look quite good with each other," She shrugged and walked back behind the counter.

"Margret," I turned around and laughed at her. "I've known the guy for three days," She shrugged her shoulders again as she wiped down the counter. "We are barely friends yet. That's all it will ever be," I shook my head and turned back around. "You know I don't like love," I crossed my arms in front of me. "Remember when you tried to set me up with that Jared guy?" I turned back around and raised my eyebrows.

"He was a nice guy," She laughed and put her hands on her hips.

"He was an overly enthusiastic science teacher," I laughed loudly. "All he wanted to talk about was interesting facts about neurons and the periodic table." Margret laughed and I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Go out and at least try to find someone is all I'm saying," She flipped the towel over her shoulder.

"That doesn't sound interesting to me. I'll just end up getting disappointed. I have Megan and Kay that's all I need," I shook my head.

"You can't have that mindset sweetheart." She shook her head and walked over to me, sitting in the seat next to me. "If you just have some hope and positivity, love will find you eventually,"

"Margr-"

"No," She pointed her finger at me. "If you deny happiness, happiness will deny you," What she said hit me. If you deny happiness, happiness will deny you. I mean I still didn't really believe in love, but maybe if I tried a little harder I could truly be happy. "Well," She put a hand on my knee. "Why don't you invite a bunch of friends to go eat out on your birthday?" She squeezed my knee.

"So just Kay, Megan, and You?" I furrowed my eyebrows. She shook her head and rolled her eyes.

"Harry," She tilted her head and smiled.

"Margret," I rolled my eyes and stood up. "I am going to call Kay to give me a ride to my car," I pointed at her. "I will spend my birthday with Kay," I picked up my camera bag. "And I will continue to live the rest of my life as a world-renowned photographer who lives alone in the woods," I started walking towards the door.

"If you deny happiness," Margret started saying those words again.

"Happiness will deny you," I finished her sentenced and smiled. "Goodbye," I walked out of Beachwood and started my long walk. I pulled headphones out of my camera back and pluffed them into my phone. I turned on one of the trending playlists on Spotify. A song with a peaceful sound came on. I looked at my phone to look at the name of the song. Irresistible by One Direction. I smiled softly and shook my head. I kept the song on and listened to the soft melody.
