Chapter 6

I feel all my nerves exploding and my insides ripping apart as I roll off the couch screaming in pain. I yell for Don to come but I can't see anybody in the house, as I try to keep my mouth shut so I don't wake everyone up I look in all the rooms then realize that no one is even here and collapse from all the pain surging through my limbs and veins. I crawl to the bathroom and climb my way up the wash counter to see why my face feels like firecrackers are rippling under my skin but see that my face and even my body looks completely normal until a green sharp spike rips through the skin under my palm with others following through all my body. I look at all my blood oozing through the open wounds with spikes, too shocked to even string together a word. Then as I look at my left bicep I see one of the spikes start liquefying all over my arm and forming a skin tight shell around it, as I look at the mirror I see the rest of the spikes doing the same thing making a green shiny cover over my body and going to the new muscular detail I have showing off my build. By the end of the weird transformation a black lightning bolt symbol started forming over the front of my body with a green dot in the center of it. And when  I feel the slime climbing up my neck I quickly check the mirror to see if something would go horribly wrong, but only see the slime form itself over my head making a warm green shell around it and forming two buldging yellow circles around my eyes. When the slime stops moving around my whole body it starts to cool down and harden the new formed liquid glop over me, I am relieved that the pain had stopped and check out what had just happened to me, I look around my whole body to see that it looks like a shiny costume but quickly shake that thought out of my head before I started to nerdgasm about looking like a superhero. I move my gaze to the floor and see the blood and mucus of my body covering the area around me causing a shock through me due to me losing so much blood. I look around for a towel to clean up the mess before Don got home assuming he left the place and start rubbing my head wondering where one would be until I see that a green one is in the hand on my head and freak out for a second causing me to drop it over the blood, which leads to it sucking up all the mess I made on the floor. When it is done I think of how to get rid of it until it just vanishes into the air without a trace, I back out the bathroom in a hurry not sure what the heck was happening to me and then the broom fell off the wall and hit me on the shoulder causing me to panic and scream while reaching my right arm out shooting a fast and super hot beam into the wall. I instantly stop when I realize what is happening and see Don and his family getting out their car bringing in the groceries, I get scared because of what I accidentally did to a part of his house so I make everything slow down and hope that the new abilities I got could get me out of this predicament. I think about the wall getting fixed but the costume was faster and made the walls that were torn to shreds get rebuilt quicker then I could blink, and when it was all done the Reynolds didn't even move due to how fast I fixed the situation and make my new suit glop the mask off my head while putting on the clothes I took off while going to the bathroom. I stopped moving super fast which lead to a tan color of light leading to the bathroom and coming back out with a green color instead, but also blew down the papers on the tables around the living room and the hallway. When they came in they seen me awake watching a cartoon on their flat screen TV and ask if I could help them carry in the new food they bought, I smile and bring in the rest of the groceries without using my powers and fall back to sleep.
