"Remember trust no one and kill everyone. Don't get anything from the Cornucopia, and just try to find a good source of water" Croule says reminding me of Ronnie. She isn't here. I don't know where she is. Ever since Vance's death, she has been there for me. And now I won't get to say goodbye to her. As I go to what will most likely be my death. I slowly board the helicopter that will transport me to wherever the games will be held.

But then I see her. Ronnie is running as fast as she can (which is pretty fast) straight towards me. I can see her lips moving, but I can't hear her over the sound of the propellers. I quickly tell the pilot that I forgot something and apologize to Kindia for keeping up from moving. She's here because even though everyone gets the same outfit to start the games in, our stylist has to put it on us and make sure it looks good. And in my case, make it look sexy.

When Ronnie finally reaches me she stops to pant for a bit, before handing me a brown bag. Inside a see a tiny box. A ring box. I look up at Ronnie waiting for an explanation. "This was Vance's token. It was his mother's engagement ring and after quite some back and forth I was able to convince the Gamemakers to let you have it. Your welcome by the way."

"I- I donut know what to say," I state as I open the box. Inside is a beautiful opaque, oval, black stone on a thin golden band. It's truly gorgeous. It's also the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. I look up at Ronnie as I slide the ring on my pointer finger. "Thank you," I say while embracing her in a tight hug. "I have to go now, but I'll be back soon. I'll do everything you taught me, and I won't screw up."

I run back to the helicopter and tell the pilot we're good to leave. "I'll try not to die!" I yell as we slowly rise into the air.
