One last time

Can I see you one last time?
Even if it's just to see you walk away,
and saying goodbye.
At least it's a bitter-sweet memory that we create.

Not knowing what's going on in your life,
is slowly killing me inside.
I know it shouldn't because there's no more You and I,
but your life was once part of mine.

When it rains,
I get caught up in the pain.
When the sun shines,
I'm reminded of the time when you were mine.
Both makes me long for one last time,
even if it's just saying goodbye.

I don't want you to walk away,
but if it would help you grow,
then I would let you go,
knowing it's better for you to walk away when you never intended to stay.

Moving on,
a part of the future I never thought of,
saying goodbye,
always hurts,
but this time it only seems right.

We both loved,
and we both got hurt.
Am I what you deserved?
That will be answered by our future.

I could go on,
about what You and I meant,
but that, won't change how this ends.
Your love for me has long gone.

Love seem so kind,
but can also be the reason people lose their minds.
It makes you feel so good inside,
but can also leave you hollow while life goes by.

We both need to find that which we lost,
in a future that's far off,
and even if that happens in due time,
I'll always hold dear the memories of You and I.

it all ends,

Why did we begin?
