Instead of driving us to the basement, Connor takes us to another place, very different. It's an apartment located in the middle of a huge building. There are thousands of others in Robin City so it doesn't shock me when I watch by the window the large city just like the view from the Grand Tower, the one Connor brought me to.

As I continue to watch the invisible sunset, Jayden finally comes to me in order to indicate me about my new bedroom.

"It used to be your sister's", he adds before I leave him.

The room isn't big but it's enough for one person to live in. And it's simple with only one bed in the middle against the wall, two drawers, a bathroom and a balcony. I need some air again so I go the latter and watch the street as the sky becomes darker. People coming back from work are driving their car. It's a beautiful view. I would love to stay here for more but I cannot forget about the laptop. So I take one last look at what faces me. I notice some stairs that link the balcony to the one below. The latter is linked to the other apartments' balcony thanks to other stairs.

I take out Asher's computer and lay on the soft and comfortable bed, more comfortable than the one from the basement.  I open the laptop and power it on. No password again.

"Mackenzie!" I suddenly hear Helene shout. As a reflex, I close the laptop and hide it under the first pillow I find. "Come, now!"

I obey and join them in the living room. There are only Connor, Helene and Jayden. I sit on a couch and listen to their conversation until a scream comes from a bedroom.

Seeing my reaction, Connor sits next to me and answers before I ask the question, "Ginny is interrogating Asher."

I keep my eyes on the black carpet not being able to stare at my new friends while I lie to them. I should tell them about what I found now. But instead, I question, "What if he says nothing?"

"With Ginny? Impossible!" he chuckles. "She could spend days and days doing the same thing just to get what she wants."

"Reminds me of Hailey."

"Yeah, that's probably why they like each other."

I don't react at those words. I'm still mad at the fact that Hailey told me nothing about her girlfriend. I'm supposed to be her sister. She's supposed to tell me everything about her life... just like I always do.

"Mackenzie", Connor says, putting his hand on my back. "Is everything ok?"

Of course nothing is ok! My sister is missing. I have nothing left but her friends to who I'm lying. I just fought with Asher Williams. I was going to be trapped in his office if the gang hadn't come to save me. I almost killed a bodyguard. I want to cry. And-

"I need to take a shower", I reply while getting up.

When I arrive to the room, I lock the door and collapse on the bed. I free the tears I have been retaining for hours. I wanted to tell them everything. To tell them how bad I'm feeling. to tell them that I'm tired. But I couldn't. So I let the pillow being my only friend for the following minutes.

The moment I finally feel able to handle my future discovery, I take the laptop and power it on, Asher's screaming reminding me of how much my sister should be suffering. The page of earlier comes back to the screen. Many things are written on it as if it's a program. The first thing that catches my attention after the title is the word 'Weapons'.
