deja vu out now on all platforms!!

it's been 3 weeks. deja vu was finally out and thriving. harris and i had written one more song with the help of things we have written in the past.

we were both very excited. everyone was currently at my apartment celebrating the new song. halloween was this week and caroline was having a party

luke and i had gone on a date but it was mainly just hanging out. he was taking me to caroline's party and we were being the angel and devil. classic

"good job" katie said to me as the song dropped.

"you did it!" caroline said hugging me.

"i did it" i smiled as everyone told me they were proud of me. i looked over at luke who was leaning against the wall smiling at me

i smiled at him and walked over to him. he wrapped his arms around my waist and i wrapped mine around his neck

"i'm proud of you baby" he said causing me to blush

"thank you luke" i smiled. he leaned down and kissed me. i kissed back of course but pulled away knowing that someone would see at some point

"let's go party" i said taking his hand and leading him to the kitchen to i could get a whiteclaw. i handed him one as well.

"thank you" he said. he opened his normally but i put a hole through mine using me teeth before shotgunning it.

"it's been awhile since i've done that" i said throwing the can away and getting another one. he just smirked at me

"you just keep getting hotter as the days go on" i laughed at him before going into the living room with him

he followed me as i went to caroline. i hugged her front behind.

"oh hey girly" she said

"hey" i said unwrapping my arms from her shoulders. she gave me a real hug before i turned back to punz who was staring at me

"what are you looking at?" i asked

"just staring at the pretty girl in front of me" he said. i sat down on the couch next to me

"you are such a simp" i said truthfully

"yes i am"

everyone left at 2 am besides mikey who was spending the night. mikey was in the shower while i was cleaning up. she came out and helped me a little

"so you and luke huh?" she asked

"what are you talking about?"

"i saw you two kiss multiple times" she said

"we are talking i think. i don't know. we don't have a label but we are definitely something" i said

"does that mean you are over nick?"

"honestly i am over him. i have been, but i don't think i will ever get over what he did to me and how he acted" i answered

"fair point, i hope you know you didn't deserve what he did" she said

"without it i wouldn't be having an album coming out soon" i said and she laughed

"oh yeah hunter finally asked me out"

"FINALLY! i was over him being a pussy about it" i said as we went into my room to finally go to bed

we woke up the next morning to lola meowing and someone knocking on my front door. i got up and moved to the door hoping to not wake up mikey.

i opened my front door to reveal my parents. i looked at them and sighed. not this again.

"good morning sweetie" my mom said

"why are you guys here?" i asked not letting them in

"can we not see our daughter?" my dad spoke

"you don't treat me like your daughter so no" i deadpanned

"kayla! that's no way to talk to us"

"i asked you two to stay out of my life" i spoke a bit louder

"kayla rose-"

my dad was cut off my mikey speaking.

"leave her alone for once" she said. i stepped back as she closed the door and locked it

"thank you" i sighed before sitting on the couch with mikey

"not a problem. they need to learn that you don't want to talk to them" mikey said, still standing up for me
