the night ended with us having pie and talking about funny stories revolving luke and his siblings. i enjoyed my time

we were currently on our way back to lukes house. his hand had fallen on my knee sometime during the drive. i was just on my phone as we drove with the radio playing pretty quietly

"i'm proud of you" luke started "my parents both texted me sayi you were a keeper"

i smiled at the comment before putting my hand on top of his hand

"then you better keep me" i said and he laughed as if it was obvious he would be

"i'm never letting you go baby" he said as soon as caroline texted me

i am being quiet for once

i put my phone down and swueezed his hand softly before looking over at him

"sorry for being really quiet. i'm tired and sorta sad. it's nothing with you though"

"you wanna talk about whatever it is?" he asked as his grip tighten on my thigh

"just seeing you have such a happy family makes me wish i had that" i said scared

"my family is now your family baby. i know your parents are dicks but we can move on from it together" he said

"i love you so much" i whispered making sure i didn't start crying

"what?" he asked confused

"darling. i like it" i confessed as we pulled into his neighborhood.

"got it darling" he said focusing on the road.

it was already dark outside seeing that it was late november by now. it was only 8:30 when we finally pulled into his driveway

i streched in the seat before getting out and following punz to the front door and into his home. as soon as we entered and took off my jacket and shoes

luke took off his shoes and started to unbutton his dress shirt while following up to his room

"i like your family a lot" i said as i sat down on his bed. he smiled down at me

"i promise they like you" he said undoing his belt and going to his closet

he changed into sweatpants with no shirt like he normally did for bed. i had my eyes closed still wearing my dress and laying in luke's bed

"baby you need to change" he commented laying next to me

"i'm working on it" i said opening my eyes. i finally sat up and grabbed shorts and a t shirt before changing.

i had a small bag of clothes that was being used while i had been staying here. i planned on going home tomorrow anyways. weston had been taking care of lola since we lived in the small apartment complex

i laid back down and was engulfed into a hug by luke. i took the scent of his cologne in while he played with my hair

"miley is calling" he said as my phone started buzzing. i reached over and grabbed my phone as luke let me out of his grip

"hello" i answered

"haven't heard from you today. wanted to know how jacob's went"

"didn't go spent the day with my boyfriends family in mat" i said

"oh didn't know that. is your boyfriend that luke guy. the streamer?" she asked

"that's him" i said laying back on his chest

"well i'm happy for you. i need to go now. taylor's brother just got here. i love you"

"i love you too" i said before hanging up and putting my phone back on the charger

"what did she want?" luke asked as he wrapped around me

"asked about my thanksgiving basically"

"hmm she is in colorado right?"

"yeah"

"maybe we could roadtrip there" he spoke and i laughed. he still hadn't dropped that
