The cords of The Dream's IV Play began to thump through the club's speakers.Desmond lifted his head from the phone in his lap, giving his attention to the stage. He wanted to see which dancer would ruin the song for him knowing it was one of his favorites from that album.
The men had been in the club for nearly an hour and he was already disappointed in the variety of women the place had to offer.
This shit whack, he shook his head.
Then he saw her.
Long legs sauntered through the curtain in a robe that hid nothing. Her plump breasts set delicately in a laced bra with matching panties, wearing all white like an angel.
Her silver shoes glimmered under the lights as she strolled to the middle of the stage.Desmond stood and found himself drifting closer.
He was mesmerized as the dancer, swayed her body removing her robe and uncovering more skin, the color reminding him of warm honey.
She gracefully climbed the pole and wrapped her legs around it in a sit. While she spun around, her long black hair flowed with every motion, every move.
The entertainer glanced at him, mouthing the words to the song as she followed the beat.
Perfection was the only word that came to his mind.
Instinctively, he found himself jealous as he witnessed other patrons tossing money so he casually inched closer and placed a hundred-dollar bill on the stage.
The woman smiled at his gesture, revealing beautiful white teeth behind her full red lips.
Feeling as though his heart skipped a beat, Desmond returned a smile showing the glistening bottom grill he'd worn for his rare night out.
Their eyes remained glued to one another as he thought to himself, She's looking at me, dancing for me.
Damn, he fine, Jaden thought to herself. His presence doing something to her.
Unintentionally, she began to imagine dancing for him and no one else, which was unlike her. Usually, she would zone out everything and flow with the music as if she were alone in her bedroom.
After dancing for over a year, not once had Jaden danced like she did in the presence of this handsome stranger. Yet here she was, eyes locked with a man who she knew nothing about, besides the fact that he carried good looks and dressed expensively.
Slowing lowering her body, winding her hips, she quietly sang along to the song never moving her eyes off the man, 'I could give a fuck about the four-play, I want it now,'
'I'm talkin straight sex, stop fuckin' around,' the man sang along, gold and diamonds gleaming under the club lights.
Whew.
This man was giving her life as he stood at the edge of the stage with his arms folded nodding his head to the music, with the most intense gaze.
Jaden enjoyed the attention gave her, it had her feeling like he was all hers for the moment.
Cash was falling around her from all directions, but he held her attention.
Red Light Special by TLC began to play as her first song came to a close.
How appropriate.
