As Jaden woke up, she couldn't help but smile as she saw Desmond sleeping peacefully next to her in their hotel bed.
They'd flown in while it was still dark. Thankfully, Jace had booked the suite to include the previous day since the resort didn't start check-in until 3 pm, or else they wouldn't have had anywhere to go for almost twelve hours.
Once they'd settled in, Jaden went outside and sat on a lounge chair watching the sunrise while Desmond went straight to sleep. The tranquility of this place put his mind at ease.
He had only seen the country of Antigua through the travel channel once but mentally added it to his list of places he wanted to visit and Jace booked the perfect resort.

Their suite was secluded amongst the tropical gardens with panoramic views of the Caribbean sea and their small private pool.
Jaden never knew places like this even existed. Antigua was a place she could only dream of. Clear water, beautiful beaches. Birds with names she'd never heard of.
Having had her passport for a few years, she never used it, other than to go on a cruise in Mexico a few years ago with Mama and some of the girls.
Jaden climbed out of bed and took in the breathtaking view from the room. After making use of the private outdoor shower, she fell more in love with the serene atmosphere of the resort.
Once she finished, she moisturized and teased her coily hair until it looked lively enough for her liking. After applying sunscreen to her entire body, she slipped into a two-piece white and gold bathing suit with a pair of white linen beach pants and was ready to go.
Quietly tiptoeing out of the bathroom, Jaden held her white and gold sandals in her hand, trying not to disturb Desmond's sleep on her way out.
"Good morning, beautiful." Desmond's voice rang gruffly through the room almost on cue, "You smell really good."
She spun around and smiled at him. "I'm sorry. I didn't want to wake you. You looked like you were getting some really good sleep."
He shook his head and yawned, "Why waste valuable vacation time?" He sat up in the bed and stretched.
Jaden enjoyed the view of his smooth dark skin and muscular body as he sat tangled in the white bedsheets. Her eyes fixated on the rather large bulge at his midsection.
"Come a little closer, you can say hello," Desmond teased seductively, knowing what she was focused on.
"Nuh-uh. We not doin' that." Jaden walked out of the room to look out at the water from the patio, "I'll be out here when you're ready." She hollered behind her back.
Desmond chuckled lowly and stood from the bed, adjusting his shorts before going to the bathroom to take a shower. He truly enjoyed how he felt with Jaden. He could talk and laugh all day with her. She was beautiful, funny, and smart.
He already decided he had to keep her in his life.
Desmond finally stepped out on the patio in a red pair of board shorts and a white muscle shirt, "Breakfast?" he suggested.
Jaden looked at Desmond behind her sunglasses, trying to hide her gawking.
He chuckled because he knew she was staring. He flexed his chest at her and she bit her lip instinctively.
"Jaaadeen," he singsonged her name.
"Huh?" she came to, "Oh, uhh... there's a place I saw off the beach earlier that I want to try," Jaden pointed over to the beach embarrassingly.
Desmond walked over and surrounded her with himself and chuckled softly in her ear.
"What's so funny?"
"You were so much taller in the club. When I hugged you that first time, I didn't even think about how high your heels were, but this," he steps back and looks her up and down, "This is perfect." He smirked.
"I'm five-five, that's not that short." She informed him. "How tall are you?"
"Six-three last time I checked" he laughed "I like it, though, I can pick you up and do whatever I want." He lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around him.
They gazed each other in the eyes. Jaden closed the distance and pecked him on the lips smiling into the kiss.
"I think you like me," Desmond grinned as they pulled away from each other.
"Says the one who staked claim on my pussy after the first time." Jaden retorted.
"Nah, that's definitely my pussy now. She don't give a fuck what you talkin bout, cause me and her already talked about it." He squeezed her booty before setting her down.
