Three cars pulled into the parking lot of the diner after racing through traffic.
Mina's black Infiniti first. Desmond's black AMG hot on her tail, followed by Jace's Blue AMG.
It all started when Desmond pulled up next to Mina's car and revved the engine, not knowing what her Infiniti had under the hood. They exchanged looks and Jaden just laughed because she already knew what would happen. The light turned green and Mina hit the gas leaving the other two cars behind.
Mina hopped out of the driver's seat swinging her ponytail as Marquis got out hyping her up. Jaden climbed out of Desmond's car before him laughing at the entire ordeal.
Marquis walked over to Desmond's side as the other two men got out of their car.
"How you let her beat you, Desmond?" Marquis hollered.
"I didn't know she'd actually race a nigga." He laughed at himself.
"Don't underestimate me, I do this," Mina pretended to dust off her shoulders.
"You knew that?" Desmond looked at Jaden who just smiled. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and they walked together. He chuckled to himself at how small the woman was next to him, compared to her height in the club with her heels on.
"Maybe I'll let you win next time, birthday boy," Mina rolled her eyes playfully at Desmond.
The hostess approached the group as they came inside, "How many?"
Jaden looked around to see how many of them there were.
"Six," Desmond answered the woman.
"Right this way." The woman grabbed menus and motioned the group over.
She seated them in a long round corner booth where they all would fit. "Someone will be over shortly to take your order." She announced before walking away.
The restaurant was nearly empty as the group laughed and talked amongst themselves.
Desmond was mesmerized by Jaden, as they shared jokes back and forth between the two of them.
Jace watched from one of the ends of the booth as his brother was smiling and laughing with Jaden. It was different than his usual seriousness that he hated to interrupt, but he had something he needed to tell him.
Before Jace could catch his brother's attention, Donte spoke, getting everyone's attention, "Aye, y'all. I gotta go. My bm blowing me up."
"And I Opp." Mina clowned.
Donte stale-faced her momentarily, "Jace, can you drop a nigga off at the crib?"
"Yeah nigga, I gotchu," Jace slid out of the booth. "Aight y'all. Big bro, lemme holla at you real brief," Jace called to his brother before he walked away from the table toward the exit.
Desmond narrowed his eyes at his younger brother's back before letting go of Jaden's hand to climb out of the booth and walk the men out. "I'll be right back." He told her. They were playing thumb war.
Desmond walked outside behind the two men. "What's good, nigga?"
"Aye, I'm not gon lie," Jace started. "This shit cute and all, but I know that girl from somewhere," he got straight to the point.
"Whatchu mean?" Desmond folded his arms across his chest.
"Ion know, nigga, but I've seen her before. She fuck wit somebody we know, I'm sure of it."
"So why you ain't say nothin' in the club?" Desmond squinted his eyes, getting irritated.
"Because the bitch looked different in the club. You see how she switched wigs on some super spy shit. What you expect?" He reminded his brother.
Desmond thought about it because he didn't even recognize her when she came out for her second dance, but to him, it didn't matter who she fucked with because she was with him so obviously she wasn't worried about her supposed nigga.
"Aight, Imma find out," Desmond responded, before dapping his brother. "You coming back up here after you drop this loser off?" He pointed at Donte, who then flipped him off.
Jace pulled on one of his braids and thought before he answered, "Honestly, nah, Angie wants me to slide through."
"You dog ass nigga," Demond laughed "Aight then. Y'all be safe." He headed back inside.
Now I gotta find out whose bitch I might've stole.
