"I'll come back to your table soon,"
Jaden promised Desmond as they walked back to the main club floor.
"No rush, I know you workin',"
She smiled at him one last time before walking away to the dressing room.
Jaden unlocked and opened her locker and grabbed the trash bag filled with the money from her earlier dances. She placed it on her booth, then grabbed a ball of rubber bands out of her duffel bag before dumping the bag of money on her station.
As she sorted the large pile she removed all the larger bills and set them aside before strapping the ones together when she estimated it was one hundred of each. She would run it through the money counter later to verify. She rough counted the larger bills and settled on six hundred dollars, before an accurate count of the 5 stacks of ones she rubber-banded.
I hope I have enough, she counted.
She was sure she'd need to get a rental car for a few days so she could get around to work and school, and then to a car auction soon because she knew there was no saving that old Camaro. It had already been in and out of the shop more times than she could count.
Deciding she'd work at least another hour and then catch a cab home, she threw the stacks of cash into her duffel bag and removed her jet-black wig before taking a blonde one out of her bag.
She adjusted her wig cap and pulled on the blonde wig brushing it into two pigtails. After reapplying her red lipstick she undressed and took another outfit out of her bag. A pair of blue denim booty shorts with a royal blue thong and a white cropped top that barely covered her c cup breasts. She switched out her black leather boots with some sparkling red ones.
Harley Quinn who, she laughed to herself.
She locked her duffel bag away in her locker before walking out onto the floor.
"Anybody up Rah?" Jaden approached the DJ booth talking to the man named Raul.
"You, Honey baby." He winked at her.
"You're a doll, Raul." She complimented before walking away, going back into the dressing room to stand at the stage curtain.
The song already playing, Reel it In by Amine, came to a close and the previous girl pushed through the curtain with her arms full of cash.
"Gracing the stage, Miss Honey ladies and gentlemen," Raul announced.
'I was born to flex.
Diamonds on my neck.
I like boardin' jets, I like mornin' sex.
But nothing in this world that I like more than checks.'Cardi B's Money boomed through the speakers.
Desmond immediately looked up at the stage as a blonde girl with two pigtails, dressed like Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad stepped out from behind the curtain.
Her red boots sparkled as she rapped the lyrics to the song. 'I got bands in the coupe. Bustin' out the roof.'
She dropped down on her knees with her ass facing the crowd making her ass clap with the beat.
Desmond gazed on in confusion as he watched this woman work the floor. Money was thrown around her. He heard the DJ announce Honey, but this girl looked nothing like her.
Honey stood from the floor and grabbed on the pole climbing until she could touch the roof of the club. She walked in circles in the air while keeping her arm hooked around the pole. Flipping upside down, she stomped her heels on the ceiling and wrapped her legs around the pole before spinning upside letting her breasts peek momentarily.
Clapping her heels together, she timed it so when she dismounted the pole into a full split it coincided with the break of the song.
The onlookers cheered crazily and the money came raining down on cue.
Okay, Honey baybee!" The blonde woman from before hollered throwing money again.
Desmond stood from his seat and went closer to get a better view of the woman.
Marquis joined his friend, ripping the strap off a stack of money, he threw the entire thing in the air.
Honey smiled widely at his gesture.
The song came to a close and Check by Young Thug came on.
Honey removed her baby tee shirt and slid out of the shorts leaving her in the blue thong.
"Got me a check I got a check!"
"Sheesh." Marquis rapped along tossing more money.
Desmond pulled a stack out of his pocket and broke the band as the dancer crawled closer rapping the lyrics and smiling.
It is her, he realized, seeing her face better.
It was no wonder he felt so hypnotized. He almost felt guilty thinking another dancer had caught his eye.
She continued dancing at the edge of the stage, putting on a show.
Desmond looked around him seeing how the energy in the club completely shifted every time Honey came on stage.
He rubbed his goatee before tossing the stack in the air letting it fall on her.
She gon definitely be mine.
