Desmond watched Jaden's sleeping body as he stood at the foot of the bed. He couldn't sleep. He ate a piece of fruit looking out at the rain. Jamaica was especially beautiful in February. He checked the time on his phone before he climbed into bed. Jaden stirred awake a bit as he slid his hand up her legs hovering over her. She opened her eyes a bit and smiled at him.
"Happy Birthday mama bear." He leaned down and kissed her lips.
"Thank you, Papa." She said, groggily.
He went down between her thighs and kissed her other set of lips, causing her to moan.
"This shit too good, Jae. Always will be." He whispered before putting his mouth on her clit and sucking.
"Open up my pussy for me, Jae," Desmond instructed, pushing himself inside. "Fuck she so tight." He fought himself not to bust before he even got inside. Even if she was his wife, he knew he might not live down that embarrassment.
It was their first vacation since the baby, and weeks had gone by since they'd made love.
Jaden slowly threw it back on him. They were on the balcony of their hotel. It was two in the morning so they weren't worried about anyone seeing them.
"Shit, baby I'm close." Jaden panted.
Desmond stood back and let her work on him, "Go head, bae. Keep throwin' that shit back." He encouraged her.
He placed his hand on her clavicle and brought her closer. "My sexy ass wife, you gon make a nigga put another baby in you." He rasped in her ear getting close.
They finished and Desmond carried her exhausted body back to the bed before grabbing her a bottle of water.
"That mufucka might be better now than it was before." He laughed laying in bed with her.
"Why you so stupid?" She laughed with him.
"I'm so in love with you Jaden, it don't make no sense." He confessed, playing in her hair. "Being with you made me a better man. It allowed me to become a husband and a father and believe those are my greatest accomplishments. I would do anything for you and Destiny." He told her.
Jaden looked up at him, she placed her hand on his cheek, running her fingers through his goatee, "I love you, Desmond King. I love being your wife. I love being the mother of your child."
"Children. Imma put another one in you. You better be ready for it." He laughed.
"Mother of your children," she corrected herself. "Thank you for helping me love again. Not only love myself but to love someone else." He kissed her deeply at her declaration.
He loved him some Jaden.
They laid in bed cuddling until Jaden got a notification on her phone. She sat up and unlocked it then gasped, "Oh my God!"
"What happened," Desmond asked, with concern.
"Cassandra and Reggie died of an overdose." she disclosed.
Desmond's face frowned, "Are you sure?"
"Yeah, Mama wrote me." She said showing Desmond the message.
He watched her for a second to see her reaction to the news, "Are you okay?"
She sighed, "Yeah, I'm fine. She chose drugs and that man over and over again, it was only right that she followed him right to hell."
