Lucille "Lucy" Rose Carlisle was known for many years to be the energetic, outgoing girl that everyone loved. She was bubbly, bright, and she could make people smile with the drop of a hat.
However that all faded right before her Freshman year.
Lucy pushed herself to be happy and bubbly for everyone around her, but when her mom suddenly passes from stage four brain cancer, Lucy goes quiet. Her light becomes dim.
Finding herself in the background for her entire High School career, Lucy now approaches Senior year with a slightly new attitude, or an attempt at an old one if anything.
So maybe her light has been dim, but with her school doing High School Musical as their next play, this is Lucy's chance to break out of her she'll and go for the role she'd love to play. Who knows, maybe she'll even get her longtime crush to notice her.
