It's now Friday we have the table ready today I work up at 8:30 and got ready. "Y/n there is breakfast there so don't eat here." My mom said. "Ok mom!" I yelled. I opened my phone to see a text from Lauren. "Y/n we are so happy for you and we miss you greatly I'm so proud of you tell me how it goes." She said. "I will Lauren I miss you too we have to find a time to call or something." I texted back as I got ready and went to the car. We drove to the set and my parents dropped me off because they had to run errands. I walked in and saw a table with catered food on it. "Hello y/n" Emily said. "Hello." I said. "You can have some breakfasted are waiting for the others to arrive." She said just then Noah came in. "Hi Emily hi y/n." He said. "Have some food Noah while we wait for Millicent." She said. "Hey y/n" he said. "Hello Noah." I said. "Look because we are so similar in age I thought we should become friends." He said. "Yeah we should I was going to become friends with you either way." I said. He just chuckled. "What are you most excited for?" He asked me. "The experience and getting to know everyone better." I said. "What about you?" I asked. "It's my first horror movie so I'm excited for that and making friends as well." He said. "Yeah it's my first film except that short film I made a while back." I said. "I've made films before." He said. "Yes I've watched one of them before." I said. "Which one?" He asked. "Wonder it's my sisters favorite movie." I said. "Oh that's really cool." He said. Then Millicent came in. "Hey y/n" she signed. "Hey Millicent come eat with us." I signed to her. "Tell her I said hi." Noah said. "Once she gets over here." I said. Then she came and sat down. "Noah says hi." I signed. She signed back. "Hi Noah." I told him. "Oh great everyone is here ok well welcome to the quiet place table reading I'm so excited to work with all of you let's get started as soon as you are doing eating." John finished. I gave him a thumbs up as we new what was going on. We continued you to eat talking occasionally. "I'm done." I said pushing away my plate. Soon everyone else was done. "Ok let's get started." John announced. We all went through the script. I am not apart of the abott family I am a lone survivor. I knew the family a little bit but not much I find them and live with them. Marcus and I become friends in the movie. "Lunch is being catered here and then back to table reading" John said. I sat with Millicent signing when Noah came over. "I know we have asl classes but will teach me some signs?" He asked. I signed to Millicent "he wants to learn sign language should we let him? Then we can't talk about him." I said. "Let's let him." She signed. "We have decided yes we will teach you some." I said. "Let's start with your name." I said. I signed his name to him and he repeated. Millicent signed. "Good job let's try your favorite color." "Let's do your favorite color." I said. Millicent signed. "My name is Noah and I like the colors green and yellow." He signed it back. "Good that's perfect." I said. "Lunch is here." Emily yelled. Just then sandwiches and Mac and cheese and chips and water a fruit were brought in. "Oh my god." I said biting my sandwich. "It's so good." I signed and said. "Mhm." Noah said. We ate lunch talking at the occasion. "So how do y'all feel about the script so far?" John asked. "I really like it." I said and signed. "It's very interesting." Noah Said. Millicent signed. "I really like it it's very unique." I told John that. "That's good." He said. "I'm glad that everyone is getting along." He said. "Yeah me too." I said nudging Noah and Millicent. The both chuckled. "So uh it's going to take like 2 hours for the rest of the script and then we have to discuss the schedule again then your free to go." John said. We read the rest of the script and then John stood up. "Alright costumes tomorrow 8:00 am breakfast at 7:30 so be there. Again I look forward to working with you guys." He said. "I have to call my parents." I said walking out into the rainy weather. "Hey y/n." It was Noah. "Oh hey." I said. "Here's my number I have to go." He said handing me a paper with his number on it. "Oh thank you." I said. "Gotta run cya around." He said sprinting into the rain. Then Millicent came out. "Here's my number." She signed handing me a piece of paper. "Thank you I'll great a group chat with you and Noah in it." I signed to her. "Bye y/n" she signed. I called my mom. "Hey mom can you come get me table reading is over." I said. "Sure meet me out by the toll" she said. "It's raining though." I said. "Use your umbrella y/n." She said. "Fine I'll meet you there love you." I said hanging up. The truth I forgot my umbrella but that's fine. I walked to the toll and waited for my mom shivering in chilly rain. Finally my mom pulled up I was soaked to the bone by now. "Y/n why didn't you us your umbrella?" She asked. "I forgot it at home." I said. "Well you get home and shower and change then dinner." She said. "Yeah I know." I said. "I have costumes tomorrow at 8:00 am." I said. "Oh yay! You get to see what you wear." My mom said. "Yeah at 8:00 o clock in the morning." I said. "Well it's apart of the experience." She said. I sighed and leaned my head back. Then I felt twin pieces of paper in my pocket. The numbers I forgot. I typed Millicent's in my phone. I texted her. "Hey it's willow." I said. "Oh hey willow how are you?" She texted back almost immediately. "Great got soaked in the rain though." I said. "Oh well that sucks I have to go I'll see you tomorrow." She said. "Bye!" I said. Next Noah's. "Hey it's willow." I said. "Hey willow how's it going?" He said. "Great I got soaked though." I said. "Well dang you excited for costumes tomorrow." He asked. "Yeah but 8:00 in the morning." I said. "Yeah same." He replied. "I'm exited to start filming." I said. "Me too I'm excited for our characters to get closer." He said. "Yeah me too I have to shower so I'll see you tomorrow." I said. "Alright see you." He said. I got home and showered ate dinner and fell asleep. "Y/n it's 6:50 time to get up." My dad said. I sighed into the pillow. "Come on." He said. "Fine." I got up and got dressed and brushed my hair and my teeth. "Ready y/n?" My dad asked. "Yeah I am." I texted the group chat. "Anyone there yet?" I asked. "Nope leaving now." Noah said. "Me too." I said. We got to the toll. "Sign in." The lady said passing me a clipboard. Just then a car pulled up behind us. It was Noah. I looked into the mirror and he saw me. I rolled down my window and stuck my head out. "Hey Noah!" I said. "Y/n get in the car you guys are going to see each other in like 2 minutes." My dad said pulling me in by the back of my shirt. I sat in the car and pulled into the lot. I got out and walked onto the set. "Oh y/n your here." John said walking out. "Eat breakfast then look on the wall for trailer assignments." He said. "Ok thanks." I said. I walked in and went up to the breakfast buffet. "Hey y/n" it was Noah. "Hey Noah care to join me to eat." I said. "Sure." He said. We sat down and I got a text from Lauren. "Hey y/n we definitely we'd to find out a time to call. Are you coming home for Christmas?" She asked. I wasn't coming home for Christmas. "I'm not coming home for Christmas I'm sorry Lauren I really miss you." I said. "Who's that?" Noah asked. "Oh that's Lauren my friend from home." I told him. "Oh do you miss it?" He asked. "Miss what?" I asked. "Home." He said. "Yeah I do I like working with everyone but I miss home so bad." I said. "It's ok that's normal." He said. Then Millicent walked in. "Hello y/n and Noah." She signed. "She says hello." I told Noah. "Hello" he signed to her. "Care to join us for breakfast." I signed to her. "Yes." She signed sitting down. "Are you guys excited for costumes?" I said and signed. "Yeah we get our trailers today as well." Noah said. I signed that to Millicent who lit up. "I'm excited for that." She signed. "Me too." I signed. Just then cade walked in with his parents. "Hey Cade." I said. "Hey y/n" he said hopping onto the seat next to me. "You excited?" I asked him. "Yeah I am I get to dress up." He said. "Yeah you do." I said. I signed to Millicent what was happening and she smiled. Then John and Emily walked in. "Ok everyone so today is costume fitting and trailer assignments. You will get fit in studio b and trailers are on the wall." John finished. "You done?" I signed and said to Noah and Millicent. "Yeah." Noah said. "Yes." Millicent signed we walked into studio b. I saw pedestals and chairs and vanity's. "Y/n y/ln your with me." A nice looking lady said. "Oh thanks." I said. "My name is Cindy and I am your stylist." She said. "Hi I'm y/n as you know." I said. "If you could take Roy shoes off and stand up here please." She said. I slid off my shoes and stood on the pedestal. I looked over and saw Noah was next to me and Millicent next to Noah. "First thing is this." Cindy said. "Your mom sent in your measurements so this should fit but we will see." Cindy said. The outfit she pulled off the rack was a over sized sweater with and army green t shirt underneath and a skirt for the bottoms. "Now mind you auroras wardrobe isn't the most fabulous because you are in a apocalyptic world but I think you ca pull it off." She said. I slipped into the outfit. As she measured my waist and looked at me. "Ok I think this should do." She said. "Let's try this one on." She said. Pulling off a pink dress it looked as though it had been dragged through mud and ripped. "Again not to fabulous." She said and I just laughed. I looked at Noah who was looking at me. He looked away and blushed. "Ok take a few inches off of the bed and have the waist tighter." She said. "How about this." She said pulling down a pair of overalls. I put it on. "Again take a few off the bottom and tighten the waist." She said. ~short time skip~ we were done with the costumes and we were sitting in Millicent's trailer eating out lunch. "So how did you fish like the costumes?" I signed and asked. "They were great I mean what more could you ask for in a apocalyptic world." Noah said. I signed that to Millicent. She nodded her head in agreement. I opened my phone to check the time and Noah must have seen my background. "Who's that?" He asked. It was a picture of me and Danny. "Um that's my little brother Danny and I in the hospital." I said. "Oh I'm sorry y/n" he said. "No it's fine." I said. Millicent signed to me. "What's wrong?" "He asked about my Lock Screen and it's me and my little brother in ten hospital." I signed to her. "Oh y/n I'm so sorry." She said. "It's fine let's just eat." I said/signed to them. I could tell that the next year was going to be fun.
