It's been 4 months of filming still nothing from home. I've decided to leave that all behind. I've decided that's it's now or never I make a career for myself. I've become best friends with Noah and Millicent. We are joined at the hip. It used to be just Millicent and I at the sleepovers but now Noah has been coming to them lately. There so much fun. Staying up watching movies and baking. We've been into making jewelry lately as well. "So y/n is there anyone back at home?" Millicent asked. "What do you mean by that?" I asked her. "Like any boys?" She asked me. "Oh god no." I said laughing. "Really? You aren't a dude magnet?" Millicent asked me. "No there was this one boy I guess." I said. "Oooh who?" Millicent asked. "His name was Lucas." I said. "We met in the first grade." I said. "We got married and stuff on the playground." I said. "We grew up together we started "dating in fifth grade." I said. "And then something happened to him." I said. "He got all weird with me would ignore me until finally he moved." I said. "Oh I'm sorry that happened to you." Noah said. "It's fine it's the last I'm focusing on the future." I said. Millicent looked at me with a small smile. "Hey kids time for bed." My dad said. Millicent crawled into bed with me and Noah slept on the air mattress. "Good night." I signed to Millicent. "Good night Noah." I said Shutting off the lights. I tired to sleep but couldn't. I stepped out of bed as quietly as I could. I walked over to the balcony and stepped into the night air. I come out here to think a lot touché I know. I sat down on the pavement. "Coming to think?" Someone asked. It was Noah. "Yeah couldn't sleep." I said. "May I sit." He said. I nodded my head. "What if this movie doesn't take off?" I asked him. "It will believe me." He said. "But what if it doesn't?" I asked. "We continue on and live our normal lives." He said. I smiled at him. My hair whipping in the night air. He was looking at me. "You worry to much." He said. "I know I do." I said. "You don't deserve to." He said. "I really do." I said. "No you don't." He said. "Do you ever worry?" I asked him. "I do." He said. "I think about my future a lot." I Said. "So do I." He said. "I think about what I want to do when I'm older or if I want to be a normal kid." He said. "We are normal kids." I told him. "We have friends, we hang out with our friends, we just act in movies that's the only thing." I said. "Yeah exactly." He said. We sat in a comfortable silence. He looked over at me and smiled. I looked at him as it was the first time I've seen him. His curly messy hair blowing in the wind his smile his sparkling eyes. "I think we should go back to bed now." I said getting up. I walked in and saw Millicent sleeping peacefully. I crawled under the covers and fell asleep with a smile on my face. I woke up the next morning facing Millicent. She woke up a few minutes after me. "I have to talk to you." I signed to her. "About what?" She signed to me. Just then Noah woke up. "Morning girls." He said. "Morning." I said smiling. Millicent looked at me with wide eyes and smiled knowingly. I knuged her. Noah stood up and sat down on my bed. "We start filming later today." He said. "I know." I said. "What should we do for now?" He asked. "My dad and mom went to a farmers market." I said. "What do you when your home alone?" Noah asked me. "Nothing much." I said. "How about we bake something?" Millicent suggested. "Yeah what should we make?" I asked. Noah pulled open my laptop and googled baking ideas and found a cake recipe. "Perfect." Millicent signed. We walked into the kitchen. Noah was reading off ingredients while Millicent and I grabbed them. We started mixing everything together.
And soon the cake was in the oven. We wanted to put strawberries on top of it so I was waving them and cutting them when Noah said. "Throw one I'm going to try to catch it." He with his mouth open.I threw it up in the air and he caught it in his mouth. He threw his arms in celebration. I just watched him laughing. Millicent looked at us raising her eyebrows. I have her a warning look and continued to chop the strawberries. "Another y/n" Noah said. I threw another one. "Keep em coming." He said. "Noah we need some for the cake." I said. "And you dropped one on the floor." I told him. "And that's the end of the show thank you ladies and gentlemen." He said taking a bow. I just rolled my eyes. "Oh come on you know you love me." He said. "Oh what would I do without you." I replied rolling my eyes. "Exactly." He said smiling. "Oh my what did you guys do in here?" My dad asked. I didn't realize the mess we had made there was flour and egg shells and chocolate and a mess every where. "Baking." I said smiling. "Or destructing the apartment." Noah said. "I agree with him." My dad said. "Anyways what did you guys "bake." My mom asked. "A chocolate cake." I said. "Smells good." My dad said. "What are you guys saying?" Millicent signed. "Oh sorry they were talking about our mess." I signed to her. "Oh ok tell them I'm sorry." She signed. "You can tell them they understand sign language." I said. "I keep forgetting that." She signed. "I'm sorry for the mess." She signed to them. "It's fine it's apart of baking." My mom signed to her. Millicent just smiled at her. Just then the oven went off. Noah pulled it out. "Oh it's perfect." My mom said/signed. Noah placed it on the counter to let it cool off. "Time for icing." I said/signed. We got out the ingredients and Millicent started to make the frosting. "Y/n Noah can you guys please wash these?" My mom said handing us a bag full of veggies. "Yes we can Mrs.y/ln" Noah said grabbing them from her. "What are we doing with these mom?" I asked her. "I was going to grill some chicken and make a Caesar salad for lunch if that's ok with you and your friends?" She asked. "Yeah fine with me." I said. "You guys?" I signed to them. "Yeah I'm fine." Noah said. "Millie you good with salad?" I signed to her. "Yes whatever you make." She signed to me. "Ok yeah we're fine with salad." I said. Noah and I continued you to wash the veggies. "Y/n can you cut those after." My mom asked. "Yes I will." I said. "I can do it." Noah said. "No it's fine I will." I told him. "Thanks for the offer though." I said patting his shoulder. I chopped the veggies and then went up to my room with Noah and Millicent. ~short time skip~ "y/n time to eat!" My mom yelled. "Time to eat guys." I signed. We walked down stairs. "Thank you Mrs.y/ln." Noah said. "Oh no problem Noah." She said. "Thank you Mrs.y/ln." Millicent signed. "Anytime guys." My mom signed. I passed around the salad. "Is it good?" My mom signed. "It's amazing mom."
I said. "Yes it really is." Noah said. "Once your done eating get ready to leave." She said/signed. I gave her a thumbs up. ~short time skip~ Millicent and I were sitting in my trailer. "So y/n what did you want to talk to me about?" She signed to me. I looked at her with wide eyes. She just started laughing. "I think I have feelings." I signed to her. "For who?" She asked. "For Noah..." I signed. "I knew it!" She signed smiling knowingly. "Oh shut it." I signed to her. "It's so obvious." She signed. "And how so?" I asked. "Your all like looking at each other with twinkle eyes." She signed. "Are not." I signed to her. "Are too." She signed back. "Whatever." I signed to her. "Do you think he feels the same way?" I asked her. "Yes! Of course!" She signed. "How do you know?" I asked. "Do we need to go back to the cast dinner." She signed. "Well what if he changed his mind." I asked. "He didn't y/n believe me." She signed patting my shoulder.
A/n I hope you like it so far I might not update for a while because I'm running out of ideas so just be prepared gettting somewhere with the Noah and y/n romance. Also if I say Millicent said I mean signed said is shorter. Also sorry the chapters aren't long this is kinda of just a background book the second one will be in much more detail and much better over all.
