It's been a few days since the beach trip. It's the Fourth of July and the cast wants to do something again. I was bargaining with John in what got do while we were on lunch break."I found a lake that we can go boating on." I told John. "Who has a boat?" He asked. "Well we can rent one not like a wimpy blow up one like a speed boat and we could go tubing like I did at home." I said. "Who can drive the boat?" He asked. "My dad can." I said. "And there's going to be a firework show on the lake." I said. "Well we can have our own fireworks too." He said. "And we can rent a beach house there's a really nice one that will fit everyone." I said. "Maybe but for now eat your lunch fast and back to filming." He said. ~short time skip~ it was the Fourth of July now and John texted me. "Y/n I've decided to book the beach house i rented a boat and a tube come to the address with fireworks and a bag for one night I have told the others this." "Ok thank you I will be there in like 2 hours." I said. "Mom dad! Pack a bag." I said. "We heard y/n." My dad said. "Are you going to get ready?" I asked. "Yes yes we are." He said putting his hands up. I packed my bag and got dressed into this or whatever you want

"Ready to go get some fireworks?" My dad asked. "Yeah the one day a year I get to eat junk food and be near explosives." I said. "I'm pretty sure anyone's parents don't allow their child near explosives year round." My mom said. We packed our bags into the car and drove to a firework store. "Ok y/n pick out what you like and what the others would like." My dad said. I grabbed the classics sparklers bottle rockets military guys a 36 shot one fire crackers pop it's that you throw at the ground a fountain. When we got to the beach house I saw Emily and John unloading their car. "Hey y/n." Emily yelled. "Hi!" I yelled back. "Let me show you to your room." Emily said once I got up to her. "You three are going to share this room." She said. "Ok thank you and happy fourth." I said hugging her. ~short time skip~ Millicent soon arrived after me. We sat on our beds signing to each other when Noah entered. Millicent raised her eyebrows at me. I have her a death glare. "Hey guys." Noah Signed/said. "Hi." I said. "You ready to go tubing?" He asked me. "Yeah I used to tube all the time." I said. "Is it fun?" He asked. "Yeah it is." I said to him "until you hit the water so hard you can't breathe." I said smiling. "That can happen?" He asked scared. "Yeah it can I've done it before." I said smiling mischievously. "Y/n stop scaring him." It was my mom. "You kids almost ready?" She asked. "Yeah let me get charged out on sunscreen and get my life jacket and then yeah." I said. "Ok so like 20 minutes." My mom said. Millicent came out of the bathroom in her swim suit. I got dressed and applied sunscreen and then headed down to the boat. "Ready Freddy?" My dad asked me. "Yeah feels like home." I said stepping onto the boat. Just then Noah came out do the house and down to the boat we're everyone was sitting. He hopped onto the boat and sat down next to me. "Can you really not breathe because you hit the water so hard?" He asked my dad. "Oh yeah you can." My dad said while backing out. Noah gulped and sat back. "You will be fine my dad will take it easy on you." I said. "Won't you dad?" I asked. "Nope." He said. "Not helping." I said gesturing to Noah. "You'll be fine Noah the best part is falling off." My dad said reassuringly. Soon we were at a spot we we could put the tube out. "What spot do you want Noah?" I asked him. "He can have the middle since you can't fall off as easily." Millicent signed. "Yeah that's a good idea." I signed back. Noah got the middle and Millicent and I got the sides. We started going when I looked over at Noah he had his eyes shut and his knuckles white from holding on so hard. I let go of one of the handle bars. And grabbed his hand he opened his eyes shocked. "Aren't you going to fall off?" He asked worried. "Noah you will be fine look at the water no waves smooth as glass." I said releasing his hand. "I'll be fine?" He asked again. "Yes you will be fine." I said. Then he started laughing as my dad drove us around. He was having fun I was having fun we were all having fun. A few hours later we docked our boat again. "That was so fun!" Noah exclaimed. "I told you it would be fine." I said. "Y/n you told me that you hit the water so hard you couldn't breathe that's not reassuring me." Noah said smiling at me. "Y/ns way of reassuring people is different than others." Millicent signed to us. "She's right." Noah signed. "Oh whatever." I signed to them. I got changed into some dry clothes you wore what you wearing before you went boating. I walked downstairs and out to the patio to see Millicent in a conversation with Emily and Noah was sitting talking to my dad as he grilled out food. "Hey y/n do you mind walking to the store to get some hot dog buns grab 4 packs please." My dad said. "Yeah I'll go." I said. "Noah can you go with her?" My dad asked. "Sure." He said walking towards me. "Here take my card." My dad said handing me his card. "Thanks." I said turning to leave. "Wait for me." Noah said walking out after me. "Just buns 4 packs." He said looking at me. "Yeah what else would we get?" I asked giving him a mischievous smile. "I know you y/n you are going to take advantage of this." He said. " not at all." I said acting shocked. "Nothing much." I said. "Just some snacks to sneak up to our room." I said. Noah sighed. "Did you like tubing?" I asked him. "Yeah it was fun." He said. "I didn't mean to scare you that bad." I said grabbing his arm and squeezing it. "I'm sorry." I said. "Your fine I need to learn to just have some fun and not worry." He said. "Ah we're here." I said looking at the gas station it reminded me of the one I used to go to all the time back at home. "Ladies first." Noah said holding the door open for me. "Thank you kind sir." I said giving him a curtsy. We walked into the store. "Every motioning my sister and I would walk to the gas station and get a ice cream and eat ice cream for breakfast up at my cabin." I said smiling reflecting on the memory. "Your parents allowed that?" He asked me. "No absolutely not. We told them we were going for a bike ride. We saved up our money all year so the wouldn't know what we were doing." I said. "That sounds like a y/n thing." He said smiling at me. "Grab 4 packages of hot dog buns." I said to Noah. "Yes Sargent." He said saluting me. I bent down to look at the chocolate selection. "What chocolate do you like Noah?" I asked. "Uh whatever." He said. He then walked over to me and set the packages of buns in the basket. I grabbed chocolate and other candy as well. "Ok your total is $20.28." The old man said. I swiped the card. "Having Fourth of July fun eh?" He said. "Yeah we are went boating today." I said. "On this lake?" He asked pointing at the lake. "Yeah why?" I asked him. "It's cursed." He said I felt Noah tense up next to me. "How so?" I asked now intrigued. "Well some old witches lived up here few hundred years ago. The towns men found out and threw them in a boat and lit it on fire and pushed out onto the lake. So whenever anyone disturbs them they awaken that's why you don't see anybody going out there." He said looking at Noah smiling. I didn't buy it. Noah who was white as a sheet. "No way." I said grabbing our bags and Noah and heading to the door. "Thanks for the story time though." I said waving to him. "You don't believe him do you?" I asked Noah. "I do believe him." He said. "Noah he's just trying to scare you." I said to him. "How do you know?" He asked me looking scared. "Noah, this lake is exactly like the one I grew up going to." I said. "The people the tales they are all the same. The people that tell these stories just like to scare people." I said smiling at him. "For example at my cabin when they demolished a restaurant to bound condos we were all mad so we decided to tell them a tale to scare them off." I said. "Did it work?" He asked looking down at me. "Some yes and others no." I said. The beach house shortly came into view. "Here I'm going to run these up to my room." I said. "Come with me." I said grabbing him by the hand and leading him into the room. I stuffed them into a drawer and walked down to the patio. "Here's the buns and your card." I said setting the buns down and handing him the card. "Thank you. Cheese on your burger y/n?" My dad asked. "Uh yes please." I said. Millicent walked over to me. "Happy fourth I forgot to tell you that." She signed smiling. "Thank you, you too." I signed to her. "I'm excited for the fireworks." I signed to her. "Me too that's a perk of being dead I don't have to hear how loud they are." She signed smiling. I laughed a little at that one. "Hey girls." Noah said sitting down. "Hey." I signed. "Y/n here's your cheeseburger and corn." My dad said setting it down in front of me. "Thank you." I said the others got there food and we ate in silence. I got to have more barrel juice luckily my mom was to busy getting drunk off of white claws to notice. "You excited for fireworks?" I signed to Noah. "Yeah I've always wanted to light off my own fireworks." He said. Once everyone was done eating it was dark out. "There's a beach we're we can watch the fireworks if that's ok with everyone." John proposed. Everyone agreed. We drove onto the beach and set up a few blankets. I was in the middle of Noah and Millicent. We were having a conversation about something when we heard the first firework go off. We just watched in awe. Millicent layer her head into my shoulder and Noah did the same. To me fireworks are something that you can see all the time but they never seize to amaze you. The fireworks went on for about 30 minutes. Then when they were over everyone started cheering and clapping. "Time for our fireworks." I signed to Noah and Millicent. When we got back we immediately grabbed the bag of fireworks and ran out the back. "Hey guys wait you need a lighter." My dad said handing me a lighter. First we lit off a military thing. "What was the point?" Noah asked. I walked over to were the army guy landed. "It's shoots out a army guy my dad loves those." said handing him the toy. Next Millicent lit off the fountain one one of my favorites personally. Fast forward we did all of the fireworks except the big one and John was going to light that one. He walked down and all of us stood waiting. Then a bunch of fireworks started to go off. They were beautiful. Again after it was over everyone was cheering. "Sparklers." I signed smiling. "These were Danny's favorites." I said to Noah. "He liked how you could write your name with them."'I told him. Noah is the only one who really knows about me and Danny and the struggles I don't know why he just seems to understand it the most. "Oh that's cool." He replied. We lit them and then after that fell asleep. Good Fourth of July.
