I woke up a couple of hours later. The warm sunlight was shining through the window onto my face. I rolled over onto my side and exhaled deeply. I opened my eyes and all I could see was a head full of black and silver hair. My eyes shot open wide and I sat up. It took me a couple of seconds to wake up fully and the events of last night flooded my memories. I looked over at the person next to me and sighed. He was still sleeping soundly. He must be a heavy sleeper. I quickly and carefully shuffled out of bed and grabbed my book off of my desk. I glanced once more at Bokuto to make sure I didn't wake him up. He rolled over, filling up the space I was previously taking up. He buried his face into my pillow and sighed. I stepped out of my room and closed the door. As the door latch clicked, the bathroom door across the hall creaked open. Kenma stepped out. He looked like he had just woken up. "Hey, Keiji."

"Morning," I replied. We both made our way to the living room, Kenma trudging sleepily behind me. "Where's Kuroo?"

"He's still asleep. He was up late I guess." I thought back to Kuroo and I's interaction last night. "Where's Koutarou?" The two of us sat together on the couch; Kenma wrapping himself up in a blanket and laying down. He put his feet over the arm of the couch and his head on my lap and closed his eyes

"He's in my bed." Kenma's eyes shot open and he gave me a confused look.

"Oh?" was all he said. I shrugged my shoulders and opened up my book to the page that was marked with a dog ear. Kenma didn't pry for answers and closed his eyes.

I read a chapter of my book and dog eared the page once again. I gently lifted Kenma so I could get out from under him and put a pillow in my place underneath his head. Kenma settled back down as I set my book on the table. Everyone is still asleep and I don't want to bother them; besides, I need some time to myself to think things through. I eyed my shoes sitting beside the door.

I came to a shocking conclusion last night and I still haven't had time to completely process it. Normally, I'd go to the roof for this kind of thing but I don't think that's gonna help me right now considering the context of my problem. I quietly slipped out the door and down the hall.

Thankfully, there have never really been many people living in my building in the first place, and when they do they don't stay long. People are always moving in and then back out the next month. As far as I know, there are only two other tenants besides me right now but I haven't seen or heard from them at all these past few days. Not that I'm complaining, everyone who has lived in this building seems sketchy as fuck. It's located in a bad area so it makes sense. Kuroo and Kenma never liked me living here because of it, but nothing has ever happened to me so I never bothered with moving.

I stopped at a bridge that's a few minutes away from my place. It has a nice view of the water so I found a bench to sit at for a while. Without all of the cars and people, it's so quiet and that's exactly what I need right now. Maybe I should have told someone I was leaving or at least left a note, but they definitely would have wanted to come with me. I wouldn't mind Kenma. I think I might want to tell him eventually if feelings get too complicated, but I need to sort them out for myself first.

I know that I like Bokuto. He's kind and funny and he just feels safe, but I barely know him. These feelings are probably the result of him helping me. God, am I so desperate that I would fall for the first person to pay attention to me? Or maybe it was last night that started these feelings; the vulnerability of the situation and the tension of the atmosphere. We were both so tired; we weren't in our right minds. I leaned over with a sigh and rested my elbows on my knees and my face on my hands in frustration. No matter what the reason may be, I can't deny the fact that I have a crush on him.
