M COUNTDOWN

Third Person's PoV

"We gonna nail it!"

"Yeah!"

"We gonna smash it!"

"Yeah!"

"We gonna slay it!"

"Yeah!"

"We gonna-"

"It's 5am, shut the fuck up-" both Seokmin and Seungkwan pouted at the yawning Minghao, who was arranging his blue striped pyjamas while taking a sip from his tea, "Don't look at me like that."

"You destroyed the mood."

"You destroyed mine by shouting."

Jeonghan shook his head at the scene while Seungcheol continued on sipping on his own coffee, "Are the rest awake?"

"Mhm. They're dressing up."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

Jeonghan turned his head at Seungcheol as soon as he heard that question, clear confusion on his face as he didn't know what the older meant, "Tell you what?"

"About you and Joshua."

"Oh." Jeonghan sighted as he looked away, shrugging his shoulders in response.

"I'm your best friend. I thought you would tell me anything?"

"I know, Cheol. I guess I was just not..ready?"

"Ready to talk about it?"

"Ready to announce we're dating. Don't get me wrong, I do love Joshua, but..the thought of making it official was just..scary."

"Yoon Jeonghan. Scared of commitment, huh."

"Oh shut up. Now everyone knows anyways, so I'm fighting with my fear at this moment."

"Well, you don't need to bother about it too much, you and Shua will be just fine, as your best friend, I can see that from miles away."

Jeonghan was now looking at Seungcheol, his lips curved into a gentle and soft smile, which the older loved, "Thank you."

"Don't need to thank me. That's why I'm here for."

"And now, the group who debuted thanks to performing in their own school, the group who worked as hard as they could to get done their successful 1st Mini Album, 17 Carat. The group who are trending for their amazing vocals and dancing. Make some noise for.... SEVENTEEN!"

Cheering. Yelling. Clapping.

This was absolutely no comparison with the cheers they were used to.

The cheers from their classmates had nothing to do with the cheering they were hearing at that moment.

Thousands of people cheering for them, clapping their hands for them, yelling for them.

It was pretty overwhelming, for each and every member, but in the best way possible.

Once the song started, they started moving.

It was the exact same choreography, but with a different audience and a completely different situation and context.

They weren't just a group of boys performing for fun.

They were idols.

But, despite all of that, the feeling stayed exact the same.

The adrenaline when they danced, the happiness they felt as they sang their hearts out and performed, the exciting feeling of showing the audience what they're capable of.

"Akkinda~!"

The cheers got louder as Jihoon sang out that part, some of them, singing along with them, dancing along, enjoying every part of the performance.

They loved SEVENTEEN.

And the boys knew that.

Once the song finally ended, the cheers they once heard got even louder and full of excitement for them.

Seungcheol looked at the boys as he was panting slightly, smiling at them and holding their hands, making the rest smile brightly and hold their hands as well.

They all were facing the cheering crowd and bowed towards them.

"Thank you for listening to us!"

"Say the name.. SEVENTEEN!"

"We were awesome!!"

"Hell yeah we were! We didn't fuck it up!"

Everyone laughed at Seungkwan's last comment, Seungcheol stepping forward and grabbing Jeonghan's hand, the other looking at him confused but soon understanding what he meant.
Jeonghan held Joshua's hand, Joshua holding the other member's hand until everyone was holding each other's hands.

"We did it. Our first worldwide performance, one of many. I'm so proud of each and every one of you. You all gave your very best out there, proving that we're not just a boy group, we're SEVENTEEN, and we will become big. This is just the beginning of our journey, so let's enjoy every piece of it! I'm inviting you all to some drinks for this amazing day!"

Everyone cheered loudly at the last part, making their way out while dragging Seungcheol with them.

But before Soonyoung could get out, Jihoon stopped him as he held him by his wrist, making the older look at him confused, "Ji? What's the-"

Soonyoung got interrupted by Jihoon's lips on his, startling him for some seconds before kissing his boyfriend back.

Soonyoung's hand went upwards towards Jihoon's back of his neck, pulling the younger closer towards him as they both shared a loving and caring kiss.

Jihoon slowly pulled away, his eyes darting towards Soonyoung as he held onto his arms.
Once they're eyes met, Jihoon opened his mouth to talk before Soonyoung could ask anything, "Let's go on a date."

"A..date? Wait, right now?"

"Mhm!"

"What about the others?"

"I got it under control, don't worry about them."

Soonyoung laughed at Jihoon's determination, smiling lovingly as he caressed his cheek with his thumb slowly and softly.

"Alright, a date it is then."

"Did anyone see Soonyoung or Jihoon?"

Jun asked as he took a sip from his drink, making Minghao look around for them as well, "You're right, I miss their arguing."

"Don't worry guys, they're completely fine."

Seungkwan was the one who replied, meeting Vernon's eyes and winking at him.

"Yup, they're fine."
