The next morning Ban woke up to the small weight of his girlfriend on his chest, he noticed her now dull eyes, staring blankly at the wall to the side, hearing his heartbeat pick up to convey that he was awake, Queen looked at him, a smile on her face, and he noticed the small smile on her face, the spark that lit up slightly in her eyes as she held his cheek in her tiny palm. He leaned into her touch, loving the warmth from her touch, while his right hand touched the back of her neck where her skin had broken off. "I promise you princess, I will keep you safe...and I will bring back your sanity." He gently kissed her lips, making her happily sigh into his mouth, the tender moment was cut off when King barged into the room, "Ban Queen still isn't back you better go-" His rant was cut short when he noticed a shirtless Ban, the man's chest covered in deep red marks and splotches, and a topless Queen, whom hid her face and body in Ban's taller form, the man hiding his lovers face and body from view, "King you son of a bitch you ever heard of knocking?" He growled out, King had a red face, apologizing profusely before shutting the door.
Dressed in one of Ban's shirts and a pair of jeans, Queen hopped down the stairs, Meliodas chuckling as he took in her wobbly legs and her fatigued face, not to mention her neck filled with teeth marks and bruises. "Ban really did a number on you Queen." He chuckled, making the girl punch his arm playfully, a shadow passed his face as he saw her neck pulling her closer to him, "I am sorry you endured that alone." He whispered to her, his hand gently rubbing onto her spinal chord, feeling the smooth bumps on the spine, she shivered and nuzzled into him, the familiar warmth of her ex lovers hand made her smile, "Thanks Mel, but you know if Ban sees this he will try to kill you." Meliodas let out a small laugh before noticing his best friend actually standing by the doorway, his hands in his pocket and his posture slouched, but his eyes were angry, "Danshou? Stealing my girl?" He said sarcastically, seeing the unsure expression on her boyfriend's face hidden by his non-chalant pose, her hands moved forward and held him tightly, "I am yours forever Ban, Meliodas is my best friend too." He smiled at her happily, his lips curled up in a huge grin as he bent forward, taking his hands out of his pockets and pulling her into his naked chest. "I know you are Daddy's girl Princess."
Sitting in the bar the sins decided to have a meeting, Meliodas gestured to Queen whom was sitting on Ban's lap, slightly curled up into his chest as he pet her hair and head, "Queen has....sacrificed her sanity for our sake and for the eventual victory that is upcoming. So we are going to have to train as hard as we can till they attack. Everyone nodded, walking out of the house to the backyard, each sin was paired with a partner, even Elizabeth was paired with Gowther, Ban had wanted to pair with Queen because he felt that she would be safer, but Meliodas decided to pair with her, saying that their demonic powers would work together better. Ban was hesitant at first but seeing his girlfriend's small smile he nodded his head, he walked towards King both immediately getting into their stances to practice. As time wore on, the other sins got curious as to what Meliodas and Queen were doing, the two had went deep into the forest, and as they got closer the sounds of the swords and the growls started reverberating throughout the space. Standing in the clearing, Queen was straddling Meliodas's waist her arms pinning him down and her growls were mixed in with his. Ban was close to storming up to them and pulling Queen when he heard her low voice speak, "Give it up Danshou I need to get back to my fox." She lightly growled while Meliodas glared at her, "You think I wanna be under you Q? I rather very much-" a shadow moved from the ground and covered his mouth pinning him down at his arms and legs as she hopped out from top of him. "I win Danshou." Her black eyes almost glistening as she turned her head towards where Ban was hiding, a feral yet sultry smile on her face towards him.
Training each day got more intense, while the other sins trained for 3 or 4 hours max, Queen and Meliodas trained for over 6 hours straight, no breaks at all, and each time everyone noticed the surge of power that got greater and greater with each fight, Ban loved watching her fight. He loved seeing the smile on her face that stayed as she relentlessly attacked Meliodas, each night he would check her neck and see the skin slowly grow back making him kiss it gently. This last fight however was interrupted, as Queen was about to swing her scythe her father appeared in front of her, making her eyes dangerously turn red as she brought her hand down, "Shadow Garden!" She screamed as dark flowers sprouted from the ground turning into vines that held the man tightly in place, "Weak darling you can do better." He said trying to pull off the darkness that held him, however his eyes widened a fraction realizing that he couldn't get out, "Oh father! Do you like my shadow creepers. I made them like to be able to hold out against as much magical energy as possible!" With a clap of her hands she pushed her hand in the shadow of the tree bringing out a pitch black scythe, her sacred treasure swung over her shoulder as she tilted her head. "Let's end this fight here? Shall we?"
