Chapter 27. Jealous puppies

A little jealousy is a beautiful phase of relationship, it makes you realize how hard you fell for someone

You do not even realize but at that very moment, you realise that you fell 'hard'.

" I so badly want to punch his face " I furiously whispered to myself, clenching my fist.

" For the first time, I agree with you, Asshole. See the way he is sticking to my Macey." Nick whispered back, clenching his jaw.

We both were ready to pounce on the person who dared to steal our girls who did not even protest. I glared at three laughing figure and not to forget that touchy part.

They were happily giggling and chit chatting with that piece of shit, doctor. The same doctor who had treated Alaia.

I agree, he kind of saved her and I am very thankful for that but the way he is sticking to 'my' Alaia, I might punch him on his face without any regrets.

" Hey jealous puppies" a voice whispered from behind.

We both turned around and saw Isaac looking at us with a stupid smirk playing on his lips.

" Liam is a really good guy right...." he trailed off with a knowing smile and patted our back, slinging his arms around our shoulders.

" You know, they are childhood best friends. They have been inseparable, especially Alaia, Liam and macey" he whispered between us.

Nick looked at him narrow eyed while I gulped and looked at the trio who were laughing at something.

" Ashton I understand your jealousy, you love Alaia. But Nick....." he trailed off, wriggling his brows.

I bit back my smile at Nick's flushed face.

" Uh... It's not.. like t-that" he stuttered, and bowed his head down.

Isaac nodded innocently, indicating him to continue. I could feel that he was trying his real hard to not burst out laughing.

" It's just.... I can't see her with anyone else." he admitted softly and a full blown smile appeared on Issac's face.

" It means yo-"

" Ashton....Nick!" We all turned around and saw Alaia looking at us with a small smile but Macey was still busy talking to that doctor.

She gestured us to come over there, I plastered a fake smile and walked to them but not forgetting to drag Nick along with me.

I felt his heated gaze upon me due to the way I was dragging him but do you think I care!

Although I was actually dragging him like a dog. Never mind.

I stopped abruptly in front of them and Nick almost stumbled over that doctor but balanced himself and glared at me, flaring his nose in anger.

Alaia looked between us amused and shook her head microscopically. She knows how we behave.

" Liam this is Nick..." She said, gesturing at Nick who gazed at that doctor with a fake smile.

He forwarded his hands for a handshake and both shook hands but  that doctor frowned, it seemed as if he was in pain.

Nick had a satisfactory look in his eyes, I then realised that my best friend is definitely a piece of shit but smart.

Nick tightened his grip on his hands and that doctor winced a little. A hand separated two of them and I looked up to see who just ruined my entertainment.
