Date with Evolution

It was the next day and I was walking through town with Vanessa nervous as hell since this was my first date but I feel a little at ease when I see a smile on Vanessa's face. "So what do you want to do" I asked unsure of what I should since I had no experience. "Well I am in need of swim suit" Vanessa said as I blush at the thought of Vanessa in a swim suit before coming back to reality but by then I was already being dragged into the shop.

*I'm going to die* I thought as Vanessa was showing me the swim suits she had picked and I had to use all the strength I had not to die of blood loss but I made it through. As we were walking through the town after picking up a swim suit for Vanessa we spent a littletime having fun but a strange feeling in the air like someone was watching us. "Vanessa you get the feeling someone is watching us" I asked her as Vanessa nods but acts like nothing is wrong but I soon hear a voice before looking down an alley but there nothing was there but the necklace Fasha gave me glows and soon I see a kid surround by what looked like spirits in cowboy coats and hat as one reaches for the kid.

"HEY" I shout as I rush at them and knock them away from the kid who quickly gets behind me but as they get back up I notice that they have no faces. "That's freaky hey kid you know who they are" I asked as I see them begin to walk closer to us which made me grab the kid and run but soon get stopped by one of the three spirits. "We have a debt to collect" one of the spirits say before pulling out a gun taking aim at the kid but I take the shot.

"I don't know who you are but this kid has done nothing to you" I say as I feel a little dizzy and fall to my knees as the one who shot me walks passed me to stand in front of the kid and points the gun at the kid who was full of fear. "LILY" I shout as Lily appears from out of no where which caused the spirits to stop before disappearing leaving the kid unharmed and my necklace stops glowing as Vanessa ran over to me before they take me back to the hideout but I fall of the broom and crash to the ground as Vanessa and Lily land next to me and see me having trouble to breath. "What is happening to him" Vanessa says as Lily sees the wound and just holds my hand with a sad look on her face.

"It's a curse from a Ghost Rider for many years they have hunted the forgotten which means that kid had been forgotten" Lily says as I grip her hand tight as my face became full of pain as I struggle to breath as Vanessa also takes hold of my hand.

In my mind:

"Wait why am I back here" I asked myself as I soon hear the sound of foot steps getting closer and closer until I see Fasha walking towards me. "So you have connected a lot soon than I expected but your here now that's good" Fasha said as I see Vado appear next to me it left me many questions like why and how but I would soon have my answer. "Your mind has become connected to the spirit core this stone gave me the power to hear spirits but you could already do that but after that Ghost Rider shot you the spirit core gave you the power to summon your linked partner by doing so has made your link to her stronger which will cause an evolution in both of you" Fasha says as I see Vado confirm what she was saying is true.

"What will happen now" I asked unsure of my next step in the evolution of mine and Lily's link until Fasha summons my grimoire and casts a spell from it which expel the curse from my body. "Your healed no curse remains but before you go listen close a dark force is moving closer to opening the door to the spirit world you and Lily must stop it" Fasha says as everything fades out in a ray of light.

Outside my mind:

I shoot up from ground spooking Lily and Vanessa before they noticed my curse was gone but I soon look behind me to see that same kid from before as it smiled and fades away. "What happened to the kid" I asked as Lily and Vanessa stand next to me. "You sent it to the spirit world in other words it's safe from the Ghost Riders" Lily says as I smile before we begin heading back to the hideout.

After getting back to the hideout I walk Vanessa to her room but as she opens her door she stops and that moment it was as if time had stopped. "I'm sorry about today" I say as I notice her smile before giving me a kiss on the cheek and a playful wink. "Actually it's was a great date handsom" Vanessa said before entering her room as I smile and walk to my room for some well needed rest.
