"Seriously, this is such a drag. I'm so bored."
Y/N was a famous villain, famous for being quirkless but still one of the most feared villains in all of Japan. Just because your quirkless doesn't mean you can't be feared right?
She was an assassin, something she decided to become after a failed attempt at being a hero. Being a hero was her dream, but not until it was shattered by other pros laughing at her, saying she could never be a hero without a quirk.
She was admired by other villains though, even Stain and Overhaul. They gave her respect despite being what she was. Not only did she take over the spotlight, but also caught the attention of another famous villain.
Shoto Todoroki, a newly formed villain after the fall of UA. He fell deeply in love with her and admired her more than any other person. Eventually, Y/N and him became the king and queen of villains. Together, they wrecked havoc in Japan.
That is, until a nameless hero turned them in and brought them to justice. However, Todoroki managed to escape his confinement. He vowed to himself that he would rescue his love from prison.
Tragic love story. How would one even escape from the prison with the highest security in all of Japan? The villain sat in her cage slouched against the metal bars. "Hey." She called out to one of the guards standing next to the exit to the room. "I'm not that dangerous. I'm quirkless. How would I even be a threat? You should just let me go."
The guard didn't respond. Y/N rolled her eyes and groaned. Just then, the doors to to the heavily reinforced room were pushed open. The ward of the prison entered with four other guards surrounding him.
He gave an ugly smirk to the caged villain. "How's the quirkless villain holding up?" The assassin didn't respond and instead turned her head way from him and puffed out her cheeks.
When he didn't get the response he wanted, the ward grit his teeth and grabbed the bars of the cage and shook them violently. "Come on don't you wanna play with me?" He asked, trying to get her attention.
"Unless you want me to put your guards into a hospital or possibly the ground, you'll leave me alone when your checking on me." She said stoically, giving him a bored expression.
The ward turned on his heel and snapped his gloved fingers. Y/N braced for impact as a shock was sent through her body from the collar she was wearing around her neck. Her body jolted and shook violently until she collapsed onto the hard concrete floor.
The ward chuckled. "Not so smug now quirkless weakling." He cackled as the guards followed him out of the room. Y/N's hair was covering her face and she weakly brushed it out of the way before giving a death glare towards the door in which the ward exited out of.
Her head was numbing with pain, causing her to sway on her feet a little as she struggled to get to her small cot. Rolling her body onto the tiny bed, she curled up against the cold metal bars before shutting her eyes.
Flashback
The assassin stood on the roof of the UA building, once being a school that kids longed to be in. However, after the hero course's students fell into villainy and abandoned their hero dreams, the school lost many students and eventually was on the verge of bankruptcy. The school was barely surviving, with hardly any income that supposed to keep their doors open.
She scoffed and gazed upon the night city, it still being alive even after the sun had already set. "Heroes are for the weak."
"Heroes? I'd merely forgotten what those are."
She took the pistol from her belt and whipped around, shooting it, not caring to see who's as behind her. There was the sound of ice cracking, and the bullet being stopped.
"Calm down, I'm not here to hurt you." The voice said from behind the ice wall. Y/N rolled her eyes. "I don't trust anyone. Not even other villains."
The person chuckled darkly before walking around the ice wall to reveal themselves. "I'm sure you recognize me. I'm always on the news headers after all."
"Just what do you want with me?" She sighed, putting the weapon away and looking at the concrete. "To deliver a gift." He said simply, stopping in front of her.
The icy villain took her chin by his fingers and placed a kiss on her lips. "Until we meet again." Todoroki said before falling off the side of the building.
The assassin peered over the edge to find no body but a slide of melting ice leading towards the ground.
"Not gonna lie, he is kind of hot."
The sound of a large explosion echoed through the fortified room and Y/N opened her eyes and sat up, seeing that one of the walls had been completely destroyed, and there was now a hole leading outside.
Her cage had been dented but not broken in the process. Suddenly, ice spikes had come from the blown up entrance and immediately pierced the guards that were on standby in the room. The air got slightly colder.
A figure walked in and the villain could recognize the person's silhouette easily. "Shoto!" She gripped the bars of the dented cage and reached out for him.
He encased her hand in his and hugged it close to him. "I've missed you." His hands moved so they were resting on the bars of the cage. Using his ice quirk, Todoroki froze the entire thing and it began to crack and eventually break. A shiver went down her spine from how cold it was.
Caring as he was, embraced her and used his other quirk to warm her up. "Let's go back home, my love." He whispered in her ear.
