Quackity pov

"Hey man..." I said quietly.

It hasn't even been a day since y/n recoverd and we're already fighting.

I look at the clock on my nightstand

12:35 am

Shit

I hear the man on the other end of the phone speak. "Hey mate." He stops for a moment and then continues "what're you doing up so late?" I sit down on my bed sighing.
"I just couldn't sleep I guess."

"Makes sense, especially what happened with y/n. I don't think I'd be able to sleep either if one of my kids had that happen to them."
I waited for a moment until continuing

"Uh hey Phil?" I said hesitantly.

I could hear his concern "yeah, what's up?"
I sighed

Y/n can't live like this. We can hardly go a day without fighting. We shouldn't be dragging them into our problems.

"Could you let y/n stay at your house for like 2 weeks."

"Yeah of course, but why?"

"They've been through a lot and they need time to recover from everything... But they can't do that with all the arguments me sapnap and Karl have been having."

Phil hummed in response to this. "I see." He said empathetically. "When do you want them to come over?" He asked as I went to my closet picking out and outfit for tomorrow.

"Will tomorrow morning be okay?"
"Totally."
"Thanks man."

I hung up laying down on my bed and stretching out my wings knowing tomorrow was going to be a long day.

Y/n pov

I laid down on my bed, I wanted to sleep but I just couldn't

So I did what I always do when I can't sleep.

Accept it and write down various books.

Ozzie pulled some strings and allowed me to borrow some books from his grandfather's library. Right now I had two books called: 'hybrids: a study of how hybrids work and their needs'  and the other one I was copying right now  'the most memorable piglins and their lives.'

While a lot of people might find this boring I find it interesting to learn more about a place that seems almost alien and hellish and how much it was able to thrive in such harsh conditions.

I turned the page to see more writing in piglin.   But the minute my eye saw the portrait and name.

I was more than shocked.

I was terrified.
