Numb. that's all I can feel

Numb. I can't feel my hands, my legs,  my stomach,  my mouth,  my chest, my head, my feet, my back, my feet, my neck. It's all numb

"Fuck" I say quietly. I look around at where I am.

A train station? What's going on?

"Damn" I say, examining the concrete walls. "What sort of drug am I tripping on?" I ask no one. I began tracing my fingers along the handprints and writing all over the walls. I expected to feel the sensation of my finger on the hard surface, but it was numb.

I stepped back to look at the words scrawled on the walls.

'It was never meant to be'

'Your new boyfriend's an arsehole'

'FUCK U JARED'

'There's a reason they fail'

'Let me on the train!'

'I heard there was a special place'

Okay wow. That's weird, and who the hell is jared? I continued looking for any more context, there were tally marks but an X had been carved into it, the words next to it read 'it never ends'

I noticed one of the spikes from the train track on the ground. I then looked at the track. I saw more writing on it, I walked towards the track, looked both ways and stepped onto it.  Crouching I began to read 'I can't get out of here. Why can't I leave?' 'Let me go home'  I saw a light wash over the track.  I looked up at the train 24 feet away.

It came fast and I couldn't move. It struck me at light speed.

And then I woke up.

I was back in the room that was made for me in the badlands. I had respawned.

I sighed in relief, I felt my body again. I wrapped my arms around myself feeling a sense of happiness.

I sat up slowly, leaning on the wall to regain my balance . my head hurt, like a stake was being driven through it. I left the room. I stepped into the main room where antfrost was sprawled out across the couch sleeping. I looked in the kitchen and saw bad . He was baking.

He noticed that I was awake. A warm joyful smile spread across his face. " Thank goodness you're awake." He said, relieved. I tried to process what happened but my head hurt so much I couldn't focus on anything.

"What happened?" I asked, leaning on the table to stabilize myself.

Antfrost chimed in on the conversation. "You died." My brain couldn't work right with the headache.

"I feel like my head is going to explode." I groaned out of the pain becoming unbearable.

"Well it did." Ant remarked. I stumbled to a chair and slumped down. "Do you need anything?" He asked with his hands behind his head. I curled up into a ball waiting for death.

"An arrow to the head would be nice." I Said absolutely drained of strength.

"Here." Bad Said holding an ice pack. I took it, placing it on my forehead. I thanked him before curling back up and waiting for this pain to leave.

No one pov

Quackity respawned in Las Nevadas. He felt an overwhelming sense of guilt for what he did. He blew up his own kid. Was that even his kid anymore? Are they still his kid  the one he raised, or have they become another puppet to the egg? He couldn't tell.

A rock flew through his window landing on his floor. Quackity looked for who threw that rock. On his windowsill a red envelope layed, waiting to be read by his eye.

He carefully picked up the red envelope laced with a small vine pattern in gold. He broke the white wax seal without a second thought. He took out the card. He then tossed the envelope somewhere on the floor,  not even realizing that there was another piece of paper in the envelope.

We hope you will join us for the red banquet on April 25th in the statue room. All are invited to this celebration.

Sincerely, the eggpire

Quackity stared at the small card in his hand in disbelief. He tore the card to shreds leaving the pieces to lay on the ground. Slamming his window shut. He needed to end this. He needed help to stop this.

He needed techno.
