Chapter 2

SORRY I KINDA RUSHED THE END OF CHAPTER 1 I WAS JUST REALLY READY TO GET THIS MOVING ALONG.

SAM'S P.O.V.
Thank God theres a party tonight because ever since last night with Shawn I've been really frustrated. It being 3 o'clock now and the party starting at 10 I just call my boyfriend to come over and hang out. His name is Jackson but he's a little bit more than ordinary. He's really popular at school and don't get me wrong I have friends to, but not near as many as Jackson.

Once Jackson got here we just went up to my room to hang out and stuff. "Who's that kid on the front porch over there?" Jackson said " That's the new neighbor, but trust me you have nothing to worry about he's a dick." I replied.
"Well good because I don't want anyone trying to take my girl." Jackson said. We have been dating for a while now. Probably about 9 months, it's been rough but he's a really good boyfriend.

"Sam come down here for a minute" my mom screamed from downstairs. I kissed Jackson and told him I would be right back.

As I walked downstairs my mom just looked at me so I got really nervous.
"What is it?" I asked. "Your going to be taking Shawn to the party with you and Jackson, he needs to make friends" She told me. I was pissed from last night and my mom knows that to. So I turned around and ran upstairs.

"We have to take Shawn to the party" I told Jackson letting him know I'm annoyed. "Well then I guess I get to show you off in front of one more person" Jackson replied. He always knows what to say.

Hours passed and I was almost ready when the doorbell rang. Jackson went to answer it while I got my tight blue (make it look however you want I honestly don't give a fuck) dress on. I knew this party was gonna be full of alcohol considering it's the biggest party of the year. So I was excited to get all of this drama off of my mind. I started walking downstairs and saw Shawn and Jackson talking. Great. I walked down and kissed Jackson letting Shawn know who he is without speaking to him.

We went to the car with Jackson driving and me in the passengers seat and Shawn in the back. The drive was mostly silence except for when Shawn was trying to talk about how long it's been since he's been to a party. Nobody really listened to him though. We finally arrived and you could smell the alcohol and hear the music. This was gonna be fun.

SHAWN'S P.O.V.

We got to the party and it looked crazy. Sam and her boyfriend whoever he was ran in, leaving me behind. Great. I can already tell this night was gonna suck.

I walked in and all I saw was grinding and drunk people. I decided not to drink or at least not enough to get drunk. After talking and meeting new people I decided to go to the kitchen to get a drink. When I walked in there I saw something really unexpected.

SAM'S P.O.V. (Samantha if you didn't know so don't get confused)

After drinking a little bit once we got there I had to use the bathroom so I told Jackson "Hey I'm gonna go use the bathroom" I said. "Okay hurry up babe." he said slurring he was already drunk as hell.

When I got finished with my business I walked out and couldn't find Jackson anywhere. So I looked for him everywhere in this huge ass house.

When I peeked into a room I saw something I immediately regretted. Jackson was on top of a girl, both bare chested. "Thanks Jackson" I said knowing if I said anything more I would burst into tears. I went in the kitchen to get more alcohol to get my mind off of this, not even knowing I was crying until I saw stares and whispers. I grabbed my drink and ran outside and sat on the curb where nobody else was. Until I heard footsteps.

SHAWN'S P.O.V.

When I walked into the kitchen I saw Samantha with tears all down her face getting herself a drink. I decided to leave it alone since she probably hates me. Until I saw her run outside. I slowly followed her so she wouldn't know I was behind her. I saw her sit down and sob into her knees.

"Whats wrong?" I asked her "why would you care you hate me anyway" she replied I instantly started to feel bad. I sat down next to her and just put my arm around her letting her sob into my side. "I can't believe he did that, I wasted 9 months on that dick" is all I heard Samantha say. I'm guessing it's with that boy that came with us here. "What'd he do?" she just looked at me with sadness in her eyes. "He's in there fucking some other girl" she said and with those couple words I was infuriated.

"I'll be right back" I said as I got up. I walked in and found him on top of a girl. I pulled the girl off of him and looked at this guy that I still don't know the name of. "Do you not realize what you just ruined? you broke the girlfriend you had for a good amount of time and you threw all of that away for a whore." I said. "This is none of your business" he said I can smell the alcohol on his breath. I got up and stared at him as I walked away.

I walked out to see Samantha still sitting outside crying. I picked her up bridal style while she buried her head into my chest and carried her all the way home. Knowing I couldn't take her home like this with her being a little drunk and an emotional wreck right now.

I snuck her up to my room laid her down and hugged her letting her know she had someone. "shhh it's all going to be okay I promise" she was starting to calm down now. She looked at me and said "I thought he really loved me like I loved him." I replied by saying "He doesn't know what he's lost tonight, you have me now and I'll protect you from now on I promise" She looked at me as I got up I gave her a pair of my sweatpants and a sweatshirt. "I'll be back in five minutes go ahead and put those on" I said while leaving.

I went down got some candy and soft drinks then I went back upstairs.

SAM'S P.O.V.

I can't believe he did this to me, he broke me and he was my everything. I don't know why Shawn was acting like this but I didn't mind. I could definitely use someone in my life right now. I guess Shawn would be it.

After I changed I laid back down putting my long brown hair in a ponytail. Wow I look like death considering my makeup is now everywhere. "Can I use your bathroom?" I asked Shawn as he came in. "Of course you can" he said smiling at me.

I walked to the bathroom and scrubbed all my makeup off. It was a lot considering I had mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipstick, foundation, and concealer on but it was worth it. I never really felt pretty until I had all of this makeup on, it gave me confidence.

As I walked back into Shawn's room he was turning on a movie "feeling any better?" he asked "yes a lot thank you for everything you've done for me tonight it really means a lot" He just smiled and said "hey, that's what are friends for, now come here and lets eat our feelings away."

We laid down and ate a lot of junk food and watched movies hardly speaking at all the rest of the night. At 1 am I realized I never told my mom where I was. She's probably freaking out so I decided to text her.

Me: Hey mom I'm staying over at a friends tonight okay? I got back safe don't worry.
Madre: God damn it child you had me worried sick but ok have fun!

I curled into Shawn and fell asleep, hardly even thinking about Jackson anymore, hopefully this all turns out okay.
