Chapter 16

Sams P.O.V.
I woke up and it was 3:00 and of course shawn was still asleep. I got up and Shawn just rolled over, he's so cute. I'm starving considering I haven't eaten so I walked downstairs and saw Cam, "hey Cam." I said. "Oh hey Sam." Cameron responded. "You hungry? Wanna go over to Outback and eat?" He asked. "Well I'm starving so I guess, let me just leave a note for Shawn because he's still sleeping." I responded as I turned around to leave the note. I grabbed a sticky note and a pen and scribbled 'went to outback with cam. Should be back soon. Love you' and stuck it on his head. I walked back downstairs "hey cam can we go to my house so I can change and stuff before we leave?" I asked Cameron. "Yeah sure" he said.

We walked over to my house. "Mom, Cam and I are going to Outback, Shawn's still sleeping so." I screamed once I got inside to inform my mother. "10 4 big buddy" my mom said. I chuckled at her response.

Once we got in my room cam was fascinated. "Holy shit you have a lot of medals, you must be good." He says as I pick out my outfit. "I guess, I did shitty today but that's alright I still have tomorrow's tryout as well" I told cam as I found an outfit. "Ok I'm gonna go change try not to break something" I told cam as I walked into my bathroom.

I finished changing and cam was looking through my pictures, he came across my bestfriend, Anna. "Holy shit who's she." Cam says. "That's Anna, she plays volleyball to, she sets. You'd like her she's really nice." I told him. "CAN SHE COME OVER TOMORROW AFTER TRYOUTS." Cam screamed getting excited. "Yeah" I say laughing. It's a good thing cam is the only one that's staying until the end of the week. Everyone else leaves tomorrow morning. "You ready?" Cam asks. "Yeah let's go" I say and of course scream to my mom again that were leaving.

We got into Cams car "so tell me about this Anna." He says. "Well like I said earlier she plays volleyball and she's setter. That's how we originally became friends. A middle has to be close with her setter. (An: am I right middles??? That's what I play so that's how I feel personally😂) she's about my height and has brown hair but it's lighter than mine. She's hilarious and so trustworthy. I trust her with my life. We've been friends for about 6 years now." I ramble about my bestfriend. "She sounds really nice, and she's hot." Cam says as he smirks. I just nod. They'd look really cute together. I then started to recollect on Anna and I's memories. We've been through so much together. Her mom got breast cancer a few years ago so we spent a lot of time together.

"Samantha?" Cam says snapping me out of my ponder. "Huh?" I say as I jump. "We're here lets go" Cam says as he gets out. I get out and Cam is already speaking to the hostess to get our seats. "Right this way." The lady says as she guides us to our seats. Cam and I sit down as the lady walks away. "So what about your other friends?" Cam asks me. Then our waiter asked for our drink. "I'll have a coke." I say. I'm not healthy at all. "I'll have a sprite." Cam says. Then the waiter walks away. "Well there's Holly and Courtney. Holly plays volleyball to. She passes and Courtney plays field hockey. Holly is really short and Courtney is normal sized. She's like 5'5." I start to explain to Cameron. "Why don't you have them come over tomorrow to?" Cam asks, sounds like he's trying to get hooked up. "And why do you say that?" I ask. "So you and shawn won't be the only people trying to hook Anna and I up." Cam says then winks. I laugh loudly. I get stares then the dude with our drinks comes and gives them to us and asks for our order. Cam and I both order and talk about the tour and our friends it was fun. But when our food gets out down in front of us we just dig in. There was no speaking, I guess he was starving to.

"That's was so good." I say as I finish. "It really was" Cam responds. Then I see Jackson walk in. Fuck. "Cam." I say he just looks up at me. Then Jackson. "Don't do anything, Cam don't if he comes up to us go get Shawn, you don't do anything." I say sternly so I only have to say it once. Cam just nodded yes. Jackson was standing by the water bin by the hostess station. Cam and I pay and then start to walk out. Until Jackson stopped me. "Cam go." I say hinting him to go get Shawn. "How have you been doing?" Jackson asks friendly. I know this is just an act. "Good, I'm very happy unlike I was with you." I say. "I changed Sam, I really did. I went to rehab and fixed myself up and I'm taking my pills for my bipolar depression again. I'm myself again Sam." He tells me. "I'm happy with shawn Jackson, move on." I say. Then I see Shawn start to walk in. I signal him to stop and he does. "I know Shawn is right outside that door Sam I'm not an idiot, and if you want me to leave you alone you have to-" I interrupted him. "What Jackson, what I have to fuck you again? You already took my virginity I don't know what else you need." I say starting to raise my voice. I then turn around and start to walk out. But then Jackson pulls me back. "Sam you know I'm sorry for that." He tells me as he's trying to pull me into him. "Get the fuck off of me." I say. I'm done with this kid. I then walk out and let the tear fall that I've been holding in. I hug Shawn as soon as I get outside. "Let's go." I say. Then I hear Jackson scream out the door. "You better watch her Mendes." I hold on to Shawn even tighter when I hear him. "Shawn forget him don't respond." I say we then get in the car. I break down as soon as I get in the car. Shawn try's his best to soothe me but that's kinda hard in between his driving and me crying extremely hard.
