Chapter 24

SHAWNS P.O.V.

I like to stay in my old home with my parents when I'm home because it's usually the only times I see them. I also just love to be reminded of my childhood.
"Mom, dad, I'm going over to Sam's place to see Peter. I'll see you all later," I screamed as I ran outside.
My parents still haven't seen their grandchild and I know they want to but they're too scared. Which is understandable.

I started driving when I saw I passed SAMs parents house so I decided to pull into the driveway. A flood of memories hit me, all of our immature, crazy, fun memories that I miss. I knocked on the door and Shannon answered. "Shawn- oh, what are you doing here?" She asked.
"Just to talk, visit, I haven't seen you all since you know." Shawn replied.
"Well we haven't spoke to Samantha in years, what makes you think we'd speak to you as well, you did worse than her. Get out please Shawn," Shannon said.
"But Mrs. Walkins you loved Sam and I together, what happened?"
"You all weren't careful, I let you all do what you want just so you wouldn't and that didn't work," Shannon said as she closed the door on me.

I walked back to my car and drove to Sams place, I'm going to get this girl back rather it takes the rest of my life or not.

I got to Sams apartment and knocked on her door. Peter answered.
"Hey Shawn mommy is still sleeping right now, do you want to go jump on her bed with me?" Peter asked smiling.
"Yes I would love to but promise me one thing, don't answer the door unless your mommy is with you okay?"
"Okay let's goooo," Peter screamed as he ran down the hall into Sams bedroom.

"Mommy it's time to get up!" Peter screamed as both of us jumped around her. It took Sam awhile but she got up, and by the look of her face it looks like Jackson came by.

Once Sam realized I was there which didn't take long she started hurrying to the bathroom.
"Oh gosh, Peter honey how about you go play with Shawn while I get ready," Sam said running to the bathroom.

So Peter and I played with his cars for awhile until Sam came out, with all her makeup on trying to cover the bruises.

"Hey Peter I'll be back okay, I just gotta talk to your mommy." I told him, he was to busy to answer.

"I'm guessing he came by?" I asked Sam.
"Is it that obvious?" Sam asked smiling
I just chuckled, she always knows how to make the best out of a shitty situation.
"We broke up," Sam said smiling.
"Good, you deserve better than him, you okay though?" I said.
"Yeah just sore, my stomach hurts more than anything,"
"Let me see it," I said sternly
Sam lifted up her shirt and showed me the large mass looking bruise on her stomach.
"Sam.." I said looking up at her.
"I'm fine, seriously," she said smiling up at me.
"Gosh, you don't know how much I missed hearing 'Sam'," Sam said as she hugged me, and in this moment, I knew that we'd be okay, we'd go back to how we were 5 years ago.
"We're gonna be okay Sam," I said letting go looking at her.
"I know we will Shawn," she said smiling back at me.
"I missed that smile so much," I told her squeezing her cheeks together.
"I missed you so much Shawn, I'm so happy we're back," Sam replied.
I just smiled back at her.
"Hey Peter you hear that? No more Jackson," I said laughing. Peter just screamed woohoo.
"Go ahead and play with him, he needs a dad in his life," Sam said smiling.
I ran of to play with Peter.
"Hey Peter, whatcha doin'?" I asked him.
"Playing cars, wanna play?" He asked me
"Of course," I replied while grabbing a car.

After playing cars for a while Peter said, "Hey, Shawn, do you know my dad?" I had no idea what to say.
"I think you'll have to talk to your mom about that, Peter," I replied. "speaking of your mom I'm gonna go see if she needs help with anything, okay?" I asked Peter and he shook his head okay.

"Peter asked about his dad," I said walking into the kitchen to Sam making spaghetti.
Sam sighed. "Again?" She asked turning around.
I nodded yes.
"We might need to tell him, but we need to figure some things out first, so stay for dinner, I'm making your favorite meal," Sam said referring to the spaghetti.
"Okay but what about Peter?" I asked her.
"Ryan can take him," she replied.
"Peter how would you like to go with your uncle tonight?" Sam asked Peter.
Peter got up and ran to Sam. "Can I pleaseeee," he begged.
"Of course I'll talk to him," Sam said as she pulled out her phone to talk to Ryan.

Sam came back with a worried face.
"Ryan wants to see you again, he's worried you'll leave again," Sam said. "Shawn, he really hates you,"
"It'll be fine," I said smiling. I'm actually really excited to see Ryan all grown up and stuff.

Ryan is finally here and I'm actually really nervous. Imagine meeting the father of a girl you really like + the leaving her part + the impregnating her part. Yeah, this is going to be a fiasco.

"Hello, Ryan," I greeted him. He just walked in with using no words.
"So what are you all planning to do, if you all do work out, I mean Shawns still famous," Ryan went straight to the point.
"I'll quit for my family, I hate myself for not quitting in the first place. I plan on not touring anymore, but maybe producing a few more albums," I replied truthfully.
"And management won't make you do anything?" Ryan asked me.
"Nope, I got out of my old contract and now I'm free," I said smiling.
"Do you still remember everything about Sam? Did you ever forget about her?" Ryan asked.
This is the time to tell Sam.
"Honestly Ryan? No, I'm still completely in love with your sister," I said looking at Sam, her jaw dropped.
"She means everything to me still, I still remember magcon and how she yelled at me when we first met, and driving around for hours to find her because I messed up, I still remember her friends, I still remember she loved Ronnie Banks, I still remember how much she loves pizza, I still remember that she never wears her glasses, don't forget about how I beat Jacksons ass twice for her, and how she loves One by Ed Sheeran, and how she will do anything to make everyone happy, how forgiving she is, how strong she is, how when she's confused she scrunches her eyebrows up, that her favorite alcoholic drink was vodka, and I could keep going, but we'd be here all night. But honestly Sam, I still love you, were meant to be," I said looking at Sam the whole time, she let a few tears fall out of her eyes.
"Sam he passed," Ryan said "come on Peter let's give these love birds some privacy," Ryan said as he left.

Sam was still speechless.
"Shawn I don't know what to say," she said.
"Then don't say anything, just kiss me," I said as I stood up. Sam jumped up and kissed me. I picked her up and spun her.
"Oh my Gosh, you don't know how much I missed you Samantha Michelle Walkins," I said setting her down.
"But I do Shawn Peter Raul Mendes." Sam said.
"Sam, will you go out with me, again?" I asked her.
"Look at us moving fast again, of course Shawn, thank you," she said.

After dinner Sam and I decided on getting them a house.
"Shawn b-but what if we don't work out, I'll have to move again," sam said.
"No you won't, I'm not gonna live here unless you want me too, but I'm still gonna let you keep the house," I replied.
"What if I do want you to stay with us?" Sam asked.
"That would be the best thing In the world," I replied smiling.
"Well then move in with us," Sam insisted.
"Are you serious?" I asked.
Sam nodded yes and got up and hugged me.
"Because, I know this is it, we're gonna get married and have more kids," sam said which made me really happy.
"Okay then let's start looking," I said opening my MacBook,"

Sam and I searched and we found a perfect house, it has 4 bedrooms, a huge kitchen, playroom, and pool. It perfect.
"Shawn this is a lot you sure you got this much?" Sam asked.
"Sam that's nothing, I worked hard these past years, were good on money,"

I called the relator and she said since I'm 'special' I can get it tomorrow.
"Looks like we're going furniture shopping tomorrow," I smiled and Sam hugged me.
"Thank you so much for getting me out of this place," sam said into my shoulder.
"No sam, thank you so much,"
