Chapter 4

SAMANTHA'S P.O.V.
I finally decided to go home after Shawn was all cleaned up. I walked in "I'm home everyone" letting them know it wasn't an intruder or some shit. I don't understand why my parents make us do that but who cares. "What's wrong hun?" my mom asked. Nothing was really wrong at that point but I guess I didn't wipe off all my makeup she noticed. After telling my mom about last night and this morning she looked at me with sympathy. "Well that was very nice of Shawn, he was being a gentleman" my mom said. "Well I guess you could say that, but I don't really know why" I replied "I think he likes you" my mom said wiggling her shoulders and eyebrows. Wow she's weird. I looked at her with confusion and she caught on.

"Honey he just wasn't in a good mood or place when we went had dinner with him" My mom told me. "I guess.. I'm gonna go shower" I told my mom.

As I turned the shower on really warm water because I hate the cold, everything about it. I walked in and let the water hit my skin relieving me of all the drama that has gone over the day. After I finished I looked at the clock
Oh my God that was a long ass shower I got home at 3:20 and talked to my mom for probably 10 minutes and then got in the shower. It's now 4:26, almost an hour well at least I smell good.

I ran into my room and put on my jogger pants and my v-neck. I put my hair in a bun and decided on no makeup considering I have a large possibility of crying into my pillow for an hour. As that thought crossed my head I just teared up, then I thought about him and that girl. "That will image will never leave my head will it?" I mumbled to myself as my brother walked in, "Woah what happened to you it looks like a truck hit you while you were drowning." I couldn't help it I sat there and cried.

Theres only two things that is legal for me that could make this better ice cream and Netflix. I walked downstairs with the tears still on my face and got my ice cream and ran back up to my room when I heard a knock. Great who could this be.. "Hey Shawn!" I heard my mom say. Fuck he's gonna see my like this.. I heard people walking up to my room as I was getting my Netflix up eating ice cream. My mom opened the door with Shawn right next to her "I thought Shawn could come over and cheer you up Sam!" she said cheerfully winking at me. I rolled my eyes "'Mom you do realize I have some other friends right?" I asked she just looked at me and mouth your welcome as she left Shawn and I in the room. I guess my mom is pretty cool.

SHAWN'S P.O.V.

I walked into Sam's room and she still looked miserable but not for long, I was determined to cheer this chick up. "Do you realize how much of a white girl you are?" I asked while staring at her ice cream. She looked at me rolled her eyes. Wow shes so cute when she does that. "Thanks I know I'm cute" she said giggling. "Fuck did I say that out loud?" I say laughing she just nodded yes.

I took the ice cream off of her lap and started tickling her like crazy. Her laugh is so loud it's so cute.

"Stop stop please" she screamed through her laughs. It felt good to see her smile. "Or what?" I smirked. "I'll kick you in the balls" she said with a straight face I immediately got off of her laughing.

"Let's watch a movie or something" I said. "I really don't feel like watching a movie especially a romance one, boys are stupid I hate them" she said tearing up letting one tear fall. I wiped the tear with my thumb after I sat on the bed next to her. "No you don't" I said. "Yes I do I'm gonna become lesbian because boys don't understand" she said jokingly. (// IM NOT AGAINST LESBIANS OR HOMOS OR GAYS OR ANYTHING AT ALL OKAY?? JUST WANNA MAKE THAT CLEAR LOVE IS LOVE NMW//)
"Let's go on a walk" I said "are you kidding me I look like death." she said
"No you don't your beautiful" I said as she started to blush. Please let's walk to the beach or something. "After I do my makeup" she said heading to the bathroom. I ran to the door "No your not going to put any makeup on your beautiful the way you are" I said telling the truth. Sam rolled her eyes and said "oh my god just let me at least get my confidence back" I put her over my shoulder "Mrs. Walkins I'm taking Sam out for some fresh air" I said "Okay and please Shawn call me Shannon and your welcome to stay the night if you want" I responded "okay we will be back around 7" It's 5 now so we have 2 hours. I walked outside and put Sam down.

"I hate you" she said giggling. "You love me just admit it" I responded. I know I really like her. I put Sam on my back and we well I walked to the beach. We didn't talk about much. Just about random things. I unlocked my phone and checked twitter I saw #getbacktogetherShawren was trending and below that was #Shawrencomeback. I looked down and started to get upset. I still can't believe Lauren cheated on me

"That makes you and me both" Sam said "Thinking out loud again?" I asked she just nodded and I chuckled. I looked into her eyes as we were sitting on the beach. She seemed to be doing the same but she looked down really quick blushing. "Stop looking down it's cute when your embarrassed" I told her. She smiled "ahhh theres that smile everyone loves" I said again. "I can't believe Jackson told you that about me it's really embarrassing" I looked at her and lifted her head up "he's in the past fuck him he's rude and is a piece of shit" I told her.

We both started to lean in for a kiss when she pulled away "I-I'm sorry" I said stuttering. She smiled "it's okay really now lets go home" I put her on my back snd we walked home, in a comfortable silence.

SAMANTHA'S P.O.V.

I should've just kissed him. Theres no way he's like those other jackasses. He's special and actually cares which means a lot to me. I really like him. All these thoughts rolled through my mind while I was on his back on the way home we didn't say anything we well Shawn walked home in a comfortable silence.
