Chapter 18

SAMS P.O.V.

I woke up feeling a lot better, Shawns arms are still wrapped around me and he's snoring signaling he's still asleep. I got out of his arms and turned towards him. "Shawn we need to get up, it's 8 and we need to pack." Shawn just mumbled something as I got up. "I'm going to my house bye Shawn, I'll come back around 11, get packing" I commanded. As I was walking out of Shawns room Shawn was getting up. "Wait Sam come back" he told me. I was confused but obeyed anyway. I walked right in front of Shawn in my black romper with my white sweater that now has makeup all over it. "What Shawn I probably look like a monster with my makeup everywhere" I told him. "You look fine" he said as he gave me a huge hug. "Samantha I love you, never forget that." He said with his morning raspy voice. God damn this kid does strange things to me. "I love you to" I responded and I got out of the hug to kiss him. After the kiss I left to my house.

"Mom I'm home to pack my stuff" I screamed to my mother. I ran upstairs to pack my things and shower. I got in the shower and shaved and all that good stuff.  Once I got out I put on a pair of gray joggers and my black hoodie. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I'm not putting any makeup on today I'm to lazy for that. Before I started packing I put on my glasses I never wear and then started packing my clothes making sure to bring a couple nice outfits and then some casual. By the time I finished it was 10:30 and shawn is probably struggling so I'm gonna go over there and help. I ran downstairs to say goodbye to my family hugging each of them. "Love you all I'll be back Tuesday night." I told them as I walked out.

I walked into Shawn's room and there he is struggling like I predicted. He hasn't noticed me yet. "Need help?" I blurted out. He jumped and turned around. I started cracking up. "Shut up Sam you scared me" he said. "Aw poor baby" I said fake whining. "But yes you can help me" Shawn responded. "Okay well first of all Shawn your gonna have to fold your clothes." I said picking up his shirt to fold it. "Ugh that takes so much time though" shawn whined. I just gave him a look.

After a couple minutes shawn and I finally finished and my hair was finally dry so I put it in a messy bun. "You look good today" Shawn said. "Shut up I look good everyday" I said sarcastically. Shawn just laughed. "You nervous?" I asked. "For the meeting tomorrow? Yes, but having you there will calm me down. When I see you I'm at home." Shawn said sweetly. I blushed. "Your so sweet stop it." I responded. "Let's go downstairs and say goodbye and then leave to the airport" He said grabbing our suitcases. "Alright" I responded picking up my purse.

We walked downstairs and said our goodbyes then left. We have to pay to keep Shawn's car at the airport because neither or our families will be home to pick us up at that time. We got in Shawn's car and I texted my coach.
Me: just to remind you I will not be at practice Monday or Tuesday, I have a trip to New York me I'm coming back Tuesday night.
Coach Shelby: thank you for the reminder! Have a great time.
"How'd you get out of volleyball?" Shawn asked me once I read the text. "All I had to say is that I've had it planned for a while and they let me" I said surprised. "You have any new songs you've been working on?" I asked shawn. "Well I've been working on this one called Show You, but I don't have a lot of it done yet." He said. The rest of the ride was a comfortable silence.

We parked the car and got our suitcases out. "Shawn you don't need to carry my suitcase I got it" I said. "No it's fine I have it." Shawn said. But I took it from him anyway. "When did you start wearing your glasses?" He asked as we were walking in line for our bag check in. "I don't know it's a relaxed day today so there's no reason to put in my contacts." I responded. "I love learning new stuff about you" Shawn responded. "Why are you being so cheesy today?" I asked chuckling. "I don't know I just woke up really grateful to still have you, it's been a hard couple of weeks." Shawn responded. I just gave him a quick peck on the lips. Shawn really is the greatest, and I'm grateful for him everyday. I really do love him and nothing will change that. When I get out of my trance it was out turn to check in. Shawn keeps paying for everything. "Shawn stop paying for everything I got this one." I said reaching for my money. But Shawn kept handing the lady at the desk money. "Uhm ma'am don't take his money let me pay for it." I told her. The lady just sat there. "I'm serious give him his money back." I told her again handing her my money. She obeyed this time. Once we gave the nice lady our luggage we went to security.

"Why did you do that?" Shawn asked while we were waiting to go through security. "Because you already paid for the car and I know you so that means I know you have a expensive dinner planned and you for sure are gonna pay for that one." I told shawn. He just grinned and turned around.

Once we got through security we were waiting at our gate and I saw a couple of girls admiring Shawn from a distance. "Oh my god it's actually him" the girl said to her friends tearing up." I saw her say to her friend. "I'll be right back" I told shawn, he was playing flappy bird on his phone so he didn't notice the fans. "Are you a fan of Shawn?" I asked the girls. "HUGE fans." The girl crying responded. "Here let me take you to see him." I told the girls grabbing two out of the threes hands. "Are you serious?!" They all said. "Yeah he'd love to meet you." I said. "Shawn" I screamed to him while we were walking over. He perked his head up really fast and smiled. He then stood up and greet his fans. "Hi" he said. "Hi" they all said. "Their huge fans" I told Shawn. The girls just nodded yes. "Aw well thank you all for everything you all do." Shawn told them. One girl responded with "no thank you shawn, you mean the world to us and we love you so much." "Hun I love all of you all so much to." He responded. That really didn't hurt me, I know what it's like to have an idol, you really do love them. The girls all got individual pictures and thanked shawn and I then left. By the time the girls were gone our plane started boarding.

As Shawn and I found out seats and sat down he asked "Why'd you do that back there?" "I know what it's like, your to scared and sometimes you need a little push. I pushed them." I responded. Shawn just smiled. "Welcome aboard Delta airlines we will be flying a 3 hour flight to New York City..." And so on about the safety stuff that nobody listens to. "So what do we got planned for tonight?" I asked Shawn. "Well tonight we're going to a dinner and then going back to the hotel. And then we're gonna wake up early and go to the meeting then explore NYC and go to a fancy dinner." Shawn explained. "Interesting" I replied. "Alright well I'm going to sleep because it sounds like we have a busy day." I told Shawn. "Goodnight shit head" Shawn replied. Then I drifted off to sleep.
